Garage Stand Papercraft For Miniatures In 1/64 Scale - New Layered 3D Version - by Papermau - Download Now!

This 1/64 scale garage papercraft lets you build a realistic layered diorama stand for your diecast cars. This new version is updated with layered details that create a subtle 3D depth effect, making the model more realistic while keeping it simple and easy to build.

The original version, published back in 2021, was a very simple project that stayed on my hard drive for years before I finally decided to share it. To my surprise, it became one of the most viewed and downloaded models on the blog, and it still remains among the top posts of all time.

This new version keeps the same compact format and full compatibility with 1/64 scale diecast cars from brands such as Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Johnny Lightning, GreenLight and Majorette, but now includes separate elements like door frames, wall sections and signs that can be cut, reinforced and glued over the main structure, creating a nice layered relief effect.

The technique is simple and widely used in paper models, known as layered papercraft or 2.5D, where selected parts are slightly raised from the surface to add depth without making the build more complicated.

If you want to build your own garage with this 3D effect, the model is, as always, free, and the download is easy and safe, directly from Google Drive.

Another thing people often ask about is the blue car in the photos. It is a custom Hot Wheels Nash Metropolitan, known as the MetroRail version, released in the early 2000s, featuring metallic blue paint, flame graphics and an exposed engine, a classic casting that fits perfectly in garage scenes like this.

Just like the original version, the entire template fits on a single sheet of A4 or Letter size paper, and this time you can build two complete garage stands per page, each with its own extra parts for customization.

Esta nova versão mantém o mesmo formato compacto e total compatibilidade com miniaturas na escala 1/64, como as das marcas Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Johnny Lightning, GreenLight e Majorette, mas agora inclui elementos separados como batentes de portas, partes das paredes e placas, que podem ser recortados, reforçados e colados sobre a base principal, criando um efeito de relevo bem interessante.

A técnica é simples e muito usada em maquetes de papel, conhecida como papercraft em camadas, ou 2.5D, onde algumas peças ficam levemente elevadas em relação à superfície, dando mais vida ao modelo sem complicar a montagem.

Outro detalhe que sempre me perguntam é sobre o carrinho azul das fotos. Ele é um Nash Metropolitan personalizado da Hot Wheels, na versão conhecida como Nash Metropolitan MetroRail, lançado originalmente na década de 2000, com pintura metálica azul, chamas laterais e motor exposto, um daqueles modelos clássicos que combinam muito bem com cenários de garagem.

Assim como na versão original, todo o template cabe em apenas uma folha tamanho A4 ou Carta, e desta vez é possível montar duas garagens completas por página, cada uma com suas próprias peças extras para personalização.

Visiting the free downloads section of the LukDesign Papercraft website, you will find a very interesting collection of paper models mainly focused on small towns, dioramas and simple urban scenery, all designed with ease of assembly and modular use in mind.

The website features several original papercrafts created by the author, centered around houses, streets, parking lots and base elements that can be combined to build what can be described as a paper city, a fully customizable miniature environment made entirely from paper.

Most of the models are inspired by generic urban constructions such as modern houses, simple residential buildings, fire stations, street layouts and parking areas. Because of this, they work especially well as scenery for die-cast cars, particularly in the 1:64 scale, which is commonly used for brands like Hot Wheels and similar collectibles.

Lightly scoring the fold lines before assembly also helps with precision, and regular white glue, applied in small amounts, is more than enough for the build. These are simple tips, but they can make the whole experience more enjoyable and the final model much cleaner.

Visitando a seção de downloads gratuitos do site LukDesign Papercraft, é possível encontrar uma coleção bastante interessante de modelos em papel voltados principalmente para a criação de pequenas cidades, dioramas e cenários urbanos simples, todos pensados com foco na facilidade de montagem e no uso modular das peças.

O site apresenta diversos papercrafts originais criados pelo próprio autor, com propostas centradas em casas, ruas, estacionamentos e bases que podem ser combinadas entre si para formar uma espécie de cidade em miniatura feita inteiramente de papel, permitindo ao modelista criar e expandir seu próprio cenário de forma personalizada.

Alguns modelos um pouco mais detalhados utilizam duas folhas, ainda mantendo um nível de dificuldade acessível. Já elementos como ruas e estacionamentos podem ser ainda mais simples, exigindo basicamente impressão e recorte, com pouca ou nenhuma montagem.

Também há conjuntos maiores, como bases e dioramas em escalas como 1:43 e 1:64, que permitem criar cenários mais completos quando combinados entre si. Essa proposta modular é um dos grandes destaques do site, incentivando o usuário a expandir sua cidade de papel ao longo do tempo, imprimindo múltiplas cópias e organizando os elementos de diferentes maneiras.

Os arquivos são disponibilizados em formato PDF, prontos para impressão em papel A4 ou Carta, e podem ser utilizados livremente para uso pessoal, o que é ideal para quem deseja montar cenários maiores ou experimentar diferentes composições sem limitações.

Metal Slug Rebel Flame Tank Free Papercraft - by Papermau Download Next Week!

After those mysterious images in the previous post, I can finally reveal what this new papercraft is all about: it’s the Rebel Flame Tank, the flamethrower tank from the rebel army that appears in Metal Slug 3D. 

Directly inspired by the iconic look from SNK’s game, this vehicle features a body based on the classic Di-Cokka, but with the turret replaced by a huge flamethrower and those two big green fuel tanks on the back, full of details that perfectly capture the cartoonish and over-the-top style of the series.

This model was born from a 3D file I found on The Models Resource, a well-known repository among video game fans that gathers models, sprites, and other resources extracted from classic games. To create this papercraft, I opened the 3D model in Pepakura Viewer. 

Using the program’s tools, I virtually unfolded the model, turning the three-dimensional mesh into several flat parts. From there, the real work began: organizing each piece on the sheets so they could be printed, cut, and assembled in the simplest and most practical way possible. After positioning all the parts, I added the glue tabs and prepared the file for the first test assembly.

The final result will take about 17 pages to print and contains approximately 46 pieces in total. As always, I tried to keep a good balance between fidelity to the original design and a build that is enjoyable to make, without making it too complicated for those who love papercrafts.

I have already printed the complete model for testing and I am now starting the beta assembly. I want to see in practice how all the pieces fit together, if any part needs adjustment, and if the modifications I’ve already made will make the process easier without changing the original appearance. Some pieces have been slightly altered by me to make gluing and alignment simpler, but always keeping the exact look the tank has in the game.

I’m attaching here some images of the 3D model so you can get a better idea of how it will look when finished, along with photos of the pieces already cut and partially assembled. I haven’t started joining everything yet because I want to document the step-by-step with photos during the assembly. That way, when the model is complete, these images will help a lot for those who want to build their own Flame Tank.

Depois das imagens misteriosas no post anterior, finalmente posso revelar do que se trata esse novo papercraft: é o Rebel Flame Tank, o tanque lança-chamas do exército rebelde que aparece em Metal Slug 3D. 

Inspirado diretamente no visual icônico do jogo da SNK, esse veículo tem o corpo baseado no Di-Cokka clássico, mas com a torre substituída por um enorme lança-chamas e aqueles dois tanques verdes de combustível nas costas, cheios de detalhes que remetem ao estilo cartunesco e exagerado da série.

Este modelo nasceu a partir de um arquivo 3D que encontrei no site The Models Resource, um repositório bastante conhecido entre fãs de videogames por reunir modelos, sprites e outros recursos extraídos de jogos clássicos. Para criar este papercraft, eu peguei o modelo 3D disponível no site e o abri no programa Pepakura Viewer.

Usando as ferramentas do programa, virtualmente desmontei o modelo, transformando a malha tridimensional em várias partes planas. A partir daí começou o trabalho de organizar cada peça nas folhas de forma que pudessem ser impressas, recortadas e montadas da maneira mais simples e prática possível. Depois de posicionar todas as peças, criei as abas de colagem e preparei o arquivo para a primeira montagem de teste.

O resultado final vai ocupar cerca de 17 páginas de impressão e tem aproximadamente 46 peças no total. Como sempre, procurei manter o equilíbrio entre fidelidade ao design original e uma montagem que seja prazerosa de fazer, sem complicar demais a vida de quem gosta de papercrafts.

Eu já imprimi o modelo completo para testes e agora estou iniciando a montagem beta. Quero ver na prática como todas as peças se encaixam, se alguma parte precisa de ajuste e se as modificações que eu já fiz vão facilitar o processo sem alterar a aparência final. Algumas peças já foram alteradas por mim para tornar a colagem e o alinhamento mais simples, mas mantendo exatamente o visual que o tanque tem no jogo.

Estou anexando aqui algumas imagens do modelo em 3D para vocês terem uma ideia melhor de como ele vai ficar quando pronto, além de fotos das peças já recortadas e parcialmente montadas. Ainda não comecei a unir tudo porque quero registrar o passo a passo com fotos durante a montagem. Assim, quando o modelo estiver completo, essas imagens vão ajudar bastante quem quiser construir o próprio Flame Tank.

The Legend Of Zelda Heart Container Free Papercraft by Johann Steven Hernandez

Created by the talented Colombian designer Johann Steven Hernandez, this interesting and unusual papercraft represents a Heart Container, a classic item from the famous video game series The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo. With its iconic heart-shaped design, this piece is instantly recognizable to any fan of the franchise.

In the game, Heart Containers play a very important role, as they permanently increase Link’s health, allowing him to withstand more damage during his journey. These items are usually obtained after defeating bosses or completing important challenges, making them essential for progressing through the adventure.

Johann’s model is simple and straightforward, consisting of only two printed pages, which makes it a quick and accessible project, while still being very faithful to the original in-game design. When printed on A4 paper, the finished model measures approximately 11 cm wide by 10 cm tall, a great size for display on desks or shelves.

The papercraft is available in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura). You can use the PDF file to print the parts, while the PDO file works as a building guide, allowing you to view the model in 3D and better understand how all the parts fit together.

Com seu formato icônico em forma de coração, este objeto é imediatamente reconhecível por qualquer fã da franquia.

Dentro do universo do jogo, os Contenedores de Corazón têm uma função muito importante: eles aumentam permanentemente a quantidade de energia vital do herói Link, permitindo que ele suporte mais danos durante sua jornada. Normalmente, esses itens são obtidos após derrotar chefes ou ao completar desafios, sendo fundamentais para o progresso do jogador ao longo da aventura.

O modelo criado por Johann é simples e direto, ocupando apenas duas páginas para impressão, o que o torna um projeto rápido e acessível, mas ainda assim bastante fiel ao visual do item original dos jogos. Quando impresso em papel no formato A4, o modelo final fica com aproximadamente 11 cm de largura por 10 cm de altura, um tamanho ideal para exibição em estantes ou mesas.

Based on the iconic Rocket Car seen in the video game The Simpsons: Hit & Run, this exclusive papercraft created here on the blog recreates in paper one of the fastest, strangest and most memorable vehicles from the game. As mentioned in the previous post, this is that secret rocket-shaped car, extremely fast and a bit tricky to control, which appears early in the first level and quickly became a fan favorite.

This model was developed from a 3D file, carefully edited and adapted for papercraft, with all parts organized in a simple and practical way for assembly. The result is a model with great presence that, while still accessible to build, preserves the exaggerated shapes and unique features of the original vehicle, such as the elongated body, the three wheels and the classic rear tail fin decorated with a stylized flame.
