About this project, he said: “This is a quick little project I did to try to get myself back into a building mood, since I basically haven't done any real models since last summer. 

Any old-school Sonic 2 (Sega Genesis) fans out there? Included are 13 power-ups from the 1-Player, 2-Player, Sonic & Knuckles Lock-On, and Debug modes. 

The final model comes out to be 6.4 cm wide x 6.4 cm tall x 5.7 cm deep. They're pretty simple to build, just two cubes and a ring to connect ‘em.”

Little Nightmares Papercraft Collection - via Little Nightmares Fandom

Little Nightmares Papercraft was a series of paper models inspired by the characters from the first Little Nightmares game, released in 2017. 

These models were shared through the official social media channels of the franchise, as well as by Bandai Namco Entertainment, which also produced four short stories based on events from the original game. 

Among the available paper toys are the characters Six, Nome, the Janitor, Chef #1, Chef #2, and the mysterious Lady, all recreated with great style. 

Little Nightmares is a dark yet fascinating game developed by Tarsier Studios. Blending platforming, puzzles, and a heavy dose of suspense, the game puts players in control of Six, a little girl in a yellow raincoat trying to escape a grotesque place known as The Maw, a strange vessel inhabited by bizarre, deformed creatures. 

With visuals that evoke the deepest childhood nightmares, the game tells its story without dialogue , everything is conveyed through richly detailed environments, an unsettling soundtrack, and moments of real discomfort. 

An interesting fact is that the design of The Maw was inspired by childhood fears, such as the intimidation of adults and the feeling of powerlessness in the face of the unknown, which is why everything feels so disproportionate and claustrophobic. 

Another fun fact: the game was originally going to be called Hunger, which makes even more sense considering the disturbing themes of eating or being eaten.

And finally, it’s worth noting that Little Nightmares was developed using Unreal Engine 4 by a small team, making its visual and artistic quality all the more impressive.

Uma curiosidade interessante é que o design de The Maw foi inspirado em medos infantis, como o temor de adultos e a sensação de impotência diante do desconhecido, por isso tudo parece desproporcional e sufocante. 

Outra é que o jogo originalmente se chamaria Hunger (Fome), o que faz muito sentido considerando os temas sombrios envolvendo devorar ou ser devorado. 

E por fim, vale destacar que o game foi desenvolvido com a Unreal Engine 4 por uma equipe pequena, o que torna seu nível visual e artístico ainda mais impressionante.

This paper toy was loosely inspired by the AMC Gremlin, but I didn’t aim for accuracy in shape or details. Think of it as a playful tribute to this iconic and charming little car. 

The AMC Gremlin was a compact car produced by the American Motors Corporation between 1970 and 1978. It was created to compete with small, economical models like the Volkswagen Beetle and the Ford Pinto. 

Known for its unusual design, especially its abruptly cut-off rear end, the Gremlin stood out as one of the first American-made subcompact cars. 

Interestingly, the Gremlin was launched on April 1st, 1970, April Fool’s Day, which led many to believe the car was some kind of prank. 

It was built on a shortened AMC Hornet chassis, resulting in its peculiar appearance and earning it the nickname “the chopped car.” 

Despite its unconventional look, it hit the market before the Ford Pinto and the Chevy Vega, securing its place as the first modern American subcompact. 

In pop culture, the AMC Gremlin appears in Breaking Bad as the car driven by Gretchen Schwartz, Walter White’s former girlfriend and business partner. Although the car only makes a brief appearance, its quirky design stands out, reinforcing the show’s retro and offbeat aesthetic. 

The Gremlin also made memorable appearances in film. In Wayne’s World (1992), Garth drives a blue Gremlin with flames on the sides, featured in iconic scenes like the “Bohemian Rhapsody” sing-along. 

In The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009), the car becomes the butt of several jokes for its strange looks. And in Dazed and Confused (1993), a purple Gremlin helps set the 1970s mood. 

With its unique look and eccentric personality, the AMC Gremlin earned its place as a cult icon, perfect for evoking humor, nostalgia, and individuality.

The kit actually includes three distinct environments: a city with buildings, streets, signage, and train tracks; a race track with grandstands, winding curves, and chicanes; and a construction site, complete with fences, barricades, a crane, and the structure of a building still under construction, with exposed pillars. 

The apparent scale is around 1/32 or 1/43, but you can easily adjust it during printing to 1/64, the scale used by the popular Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Greenlight, and similar mini cars.

Old Freight Depot At Engers Station Papercraft In HO Scale by Neuwied

Inspired by a real historical structure and spread across nine printed sheets, this is the papercraft model in HO Scale (1/87 scale) of the old freight depot at Engers station, offered for free by the official website of the German city of Neuwied. It’s a highly detailed model, perfect for enthusiasts of historical papercraft and railway modeling. 

The original freight depot was built in the 1890s and was part of the infrastructure of Engers station, which was once one of the busiest freight hubs in the Middle Rhine region. In the early 20th century, hundreds of thousands of tons of goods were handled there annually. 

Among the transported materials were raw materials for the steelworks and foundries of Bendorf, finished products from those industries, pumice stones from local factories, and clay goods from the traditional Kannenbäckerland region. 

The building’s design was drawn up in 1892 at the former Railway Operations Office in Neuwied, located on Hermannstraße, where the Maximilian-zu-Wied-IGS school now stands.

Decades later, model maker Jürgen Moritz was fortunate enough to acquire the original plans from an antique dealer. Using those documents, he began developing the paper model. It took nearly three years and countless hours of dedicated work before the depot model was finally completed. 

Neuwied, where this story unfolds, is a medium-sized city in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz), Germany. 

Situated on the banks of the Rhine River and close to Koblenz, the city dates back to the 17th century and blends historical charm with industrial heritage in a setting typical of Western Germany.

Inspirado em uma construção real e ocupando nove folhas impressas, este é o papercraft em escala HO (escala 1/87) do antigo galpão de mercadorias da estação de Engers, oferecido gratuitamente pelo site oficial da cidade alemã de Neuwied. Trata-se de um modelo altamente detalhado, ideal para entusiastas de ferreomodelismo e papercraft histórico. 

O galpão original foi construído na década de 1890 e fazia parte da infraestrutura da estação de carga de Engers, que já foi uma das mais movimentadas do Médio Reno. No início do século XX, centenas de milhares de toneladas de mercadorias eram movimentadas ali anualmente.

Entre os produtos transportados estavam matérias-primas para siderúrgicas e fundições de Bendorf, artigos acabados dessas indústrias, pedras-pomes das fábricas locais e produtos de argila da tradicional região de Kannenbäckerland. 

O projeto do edifício foi desenhado em 1892 no antigo Escritório de Operações Ferroviárias de Neuwied, localizado na Hermannstraße,  onde atualmente funciona a escola Maximilian-zu-Wied-IGS. 

Décadas depois, o modelista Jürgen Moritz teve a sorte de adquirir os desenhos originais de um antiquário e, a partir deles, começou a desenvolver o modelo em papel. Foram quase três anos de trabalho, somando incontáveis horas de dedicação até que o galpão estivesse pronto em forma de maquete. 

Neuwied, onde essa história se passa, é uma cidade de porte médio localizada no estado da Renânia-Palatinado (Rheinland-Pfalz), às margens do rio Reno e próxima de Koblenz. 

Com raízes que remontam ao século XVII, ela une tradição e memória industrial em um cenário típico da Alemanha Ocidental.
