The Fishing Boat Papercraft In 1/24 Scale - by Papermau - Next Project

 photo playboat0001_zps7db6d4f7.jpg

This will be a different project. This Fishing Boat will be not exactly a paper model, because I will use just the blank templates and the base of all will be cardboard, from shoe boxes, supermarkets, etc. I will build this model and post all the steps. I intend to make a very detailed tutorial, full of photos, of how to build this.

 photo playboat0002_zps20b5ae6d.jpg

What I have in mind is a boat in 1/24 scale for my daughter Maiú play with her Playmobils and Polly dolls, so I could not use regular paper in this project. I then decided to use cardboard packing boxes, which is a material easy to find and besides, it's free. With the cardboard, laminated with glue, I have a very strong model, with the strength of wood and plastic look that will resist well the games of my daughter.

 photo playboat0004_zps14b8f30c.jpg

 photo playboat0003_zpscfda64f4.jpg

I also intend to use this model to gain experience in this type of craft because in the future I want to build a very large model of a pirate ship on the same scale, that can withstand the games of a child of 9 years old.

Lazies – Lazy Cards That Just Sit Around All Day - by Mr. Printables

 photo lazycardsfjkdl678_zps1813f975.jpg

"Please welcome our lazy printable cards – we call them Lazies. They are very lazy. They just sit around, doing nothing but keeping you company. So when you send one of these to someone, it surely will keep that person company – always, because it doesn’t want to do anything else. Isn’t that sweet?" - Mr. Printables

 photo lazycardsfjkdl678opo_zps604b4a1b.jpg

- Mr. Printables

WW2`s Mitsubishi A6M Zero Aircraft Paper Model - by Lazy Life

 photo am6zerolazylife0089_zps8664a5dd.jpg

 photo am6zerolazylife0087877777_zpse43b8e04.jpg
The Real Thing
This is the Mitsubishi A6M Zero Aircraft, here in a very well done paper version in 1/48 scale, created by Japanese designer Mr. Cube, from Lazy Life website. The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a long-range fighter aircraft, manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy from 1940 to 1945. The A6M was designated as the Mitsubishi Navy Type 0 Carrier Fighter, and also designated as the Mitsubishi A6M Rei-sen and Mitsubishi Navy 12-shi Carrier Fighter. The A6M was usually referred to by its pilots as the "Reisen",{zero fighter},"0" being the last digit of the Imperial year 2600 (1940) when it entered service with the Imperial Navy. The official Allied reporting name was "Zeke", although the use of the name "Zero" was later commonly adopted by the Allies as well. When it was introduced early in World War II, the Zero was considered the most capable carrier-based fighter in the world, combining excellent maneuverability and very long range. In early combat operations, the Zero gained a legendary reputation as a dogfighter, achieving the outstanding kill ratio of 12 to 1, but by mid-1942 a combination of new tactics and the introduction of better equipment enabled the Allied pilots to engage the Zero on generally equal terms. The Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service ("IJNAS") also frequently used the type as a land-based fighter. By 1943, inherent design weaknesses and the failure to develop more powerful aircraft engines meant that the Zero became less effective against newer enemy fighters, which possessed greater firepower, armor, and speed, and approached the Zero's maneuverability. Although the Mitsubishi A6M was outdated by 1944, design delays and production difficulties of newer Japanese aircraft types meant that it continued to serve in a front line role until the end of the war. During the final years of the War in the Pacific, the Zero was also adapted for use in kamikaze operations. During the course of the war, Japan produced more Zeros than any other model of combat aircraft. - Wikipedia

A  Mitsubishi A6M3 Zeroabandoned at Munda Airfield,
after the Allied Invasion - 1943
- Wikipedia
