Quando eu era criança, nos anos 1970, não havia videogames, celulares, internet, tv à cabo e até o controle remoto, o forno de micro-ondas e o video-cassete eram objetos de desejo inalcançáveis para as pessoas comuns, pelo menos aqui no Brasil. Os trabalhos escolares eram feitos consultando-se livros na biblioteca e nas escolas cantava-se o hino nacional e jurava-se a bandeira todos os dias. Jogos eletrônicos, apenas nos Arcades. Taito e Konami reinavam. As máquinas de Pinball deixavam os dedos com cheiro de cigarro. Aqui no Brasil a Revista Mad era lida escondido dos pais, que a achavam indecente e a Playboy era vendida com um plástico preto cobrindo a capa. Quem levava uma Playboy para a escola era "o cara". Este tipo de televisão marcou uma boa parte da minha infância e este modelo de papel é uma forma de resgatar um pouco dessa época, onde as coisas eram mais simples...

From Brazilian A&E channel website, here are the Duck Dynasty Characters Paper Toys. - Duck Dynasty is an American reality television series on A&E that portrays the lives of the Robertson family, who became wealthy from their family-operated business, Duck Commander. The West Monroe, Louisiana business makes products for duck hunters, primarily a duck call called Duck Commander. The Robertson men—brothers Phil and Si, and Phil's sons Jase, Willie, and Jep—are known for their long beards and their Christian views. The family was previously featured on the series Benelli Presents Duck Commander and its spin-off Buck Commander, which still airs on the Outdoor Channel. The show has broken several ratings records on both A&E and cable television as a whole. The fourth season premiere drew 11.8 million viewers; the most-watched nonfiction cable series in history. In mid-December 2013, controversy from an interview Phil Robertson gave to GQ Magazine resulted in an indefinite suspension by A&E, due to remarks he made which were being widely-reported in the media as "anti-gay". The suspension started a "nationwide debate about tolerance and religion." Following public pressure on A&E to lift the suspension, he was reinstated nine days later. - Wikipedia

Do site brasileiro do canal à cabo A&E, aqui estão os paper toys dos principais personagens do reality show Os Reis dos Patos (Duck Dynasty). - Os Reis dos Patos é um reality show americano do canal A&, que retrata a vida dos Robertson, que se tornaram milionários vendendo apitos para caçar patos. Os homens da família são conhecidos por suas longas barbas e seus pontos de vista cristãos. O show tem quebrado vários recordes desde que começou. A estréia da quarta temporada atraiu 11,8 milhões de telespectadores, tornando-se a série de não-ficção mais assistida na história das tvs por assinatura. Em meados de Dezembro de 2013, uma polêmica entrevista que Phil Robertson deu a revista GQ resultou em uma suspensão do patriarca por tempo indeterminado da série, devido a seus comentários considerados homofóbicos pela imprensa em geral. A suspensão rendeu um "debate nacional sobre tolerância e religião". Após pressão pública para o fim da suspensão , Phil foi reintegrado, apenas nove dias após ter sido afastado.
