Kumamoto Castle Paper Model - by K.Yoshinaka & STpers - via Canon

Kumamoto Castle, in Japan's Nagano prefecture, was constructed in 1607. It is one of Japan's most famous castles. At the time of construction, ginkgo trees were planted at the site to ensure its residents would have food even during battles, meaning that the castle was also referred to as Ginnan-jo (castle with ginkgo trees) . 

The castle's circumference was built to be approximately 9km long, with a total area of 980,000m². The castle has two towers or tenshukaku at the top, which provide views of everything within a great distance of the castle. The bigger tower is 30m high, and the smaller one is 19m high. 

The original towers were destroyed in a fire in 1877, and were reconstructed in 1960. In Japan, Kumamoto Castle is known for its construction which made strategic use of the landscape. The beautiful curves of its stone walls become suddenly steep towards the top, a building technique which made it difficult for enemies to break in. - Canon

O Kumamoto-jo, também conhecido em português como Castelo de Kumamoto, é um dos "Três Famosos Castelos" do Japão, juntamente com o Matsumoto-jo e com o Himeji-jo. Fica localizado na cidade de Nagano, província de Kumamoto, no Japão. 

O Kumamoto-jo é um grande e, nos seus tempos, extremamente bem fortificado castelo japonês. A torre de menagem (a fortaleza central do castelo) é uma reconstrução concreta edificada em 1960. No entanto, ainda existem vários edifícios antigos do castelo original, em madeira. O castelo foi sitiado durante a Rebelião de Satsuma (1877), tendo sido saqueado e queimado depois de um cerco de 53 dias. No vizinho parque de San-no-Maru fica a antiga residência do Clã Hosokawa, os daimyo da província de Higo. 

Esta tradicional mansão de madeira possui um refinado jardim japonês em seus terrenos. As paredes de pedra curvadas, conhecidas como musha-gaeshi, assim como as saliências de madeira, foram desenhadas para prevenir a entrada dos inimigos no castelo. As quedas de rocha também foram usadas como sistemas defensivos.

A little house paper model based in a real big house, offered by Paradise Atelier, South Korean website. Judging by the size of templates, this model is on an approximate 1/100 scale, but I'm not sure.

Created by my friend, the Philippine designer and modeler Paulo, from Paperized website, this is the paper toy version of Venti, a playable character in Genshin Impact. Venti is the wine-loving bard in Mondstadt who will share you his stories and maybe even sing for you, if you buy him some wine. 

  Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action RPG developed and published by the Chinese developer miHoYo. The game features a fantasy open-world environment and action based combat system using elemental magic, character switching, and gacha monetization system for players to obtain new characters, weapons, and other resources. The game can only be played with an internet connection and features a limited multiplayer mode allowing up to four players in a world. The game was released "worldwide" on September 28, 2020 for PC, iOS/Android, and PlayStation 4. The game was also released on November 11, 2020 on the PlayStation 5, featuring cross-save support with the PlayStation 4. The game is also planned to release on the Nintendo Switch as well.

Venti é o bardo amante de vinho em Mondstadt que irá compartilhar suas histórias e talvez até cantar para você, se você lhe comprar um pouco de vinho. 

  Genshin Impact é um RPG de ação gratuito desenvolvido e publicado pelo desenvolvedor chinês miHoYo. O jogo apresenta um ambiente de mundo aberto de fantasia e sistema de combate baseado em ação usando magia elemental, troca de personagem e sistema de monetização para os jogadores obterem novos personagens, armas e outros recursos. O jogo só pode ser jogado com uma conexão à Internet e possui um modo multiplayer limitado que permite até quatro jogadores em um mundo. O jogo foi lançado "mundialmente" em 28 de setembro de 2020 para PC, iOS / Android e PlayStation 4. Também foi lançado em 11 de novembro de 2020 no PlayStation 5, apresentando suporte para salvamento cruzado com o PlayStation 4. O jogo também está planejado para lançamento no Nintendo Switch.

A family tree that defines the father-son relationship among Batak people is called tarombo. The Toba Batak houses are known for their harmonious shapes and be constructed without using nails or screws and yet everything fits perfectly.

Os Batak são uma das etnias da Indonésia, que habitam a região central do Norte da Sumatra, em volta do lago Toba.
Os cinco grupos em que se dividem, com culturas e alfabetos próprios, são:
Batak Toba, Batak Karo, Batak Simalungun, Batak Angkola e Batak Pakpak Dairi.
Suas habitações tradicionais se destacam por suas belas formas e por serem construídas sem o uso de pregos ou parafusos, tudo se encaixa harmoniosamente, com perfeição.

Attention: to view this model you will need a password that can be found by watching the assembly video on Youtube. Although the model is Japanese, the password is in western numbers (composed of letters and numbers) and is clearly visible in some part of the video. I found it without problems and opened the template easily.

Apesar de o modelo ser japonês, a senha está está em algarismos ocidentais (composta de letras e números) e está bem visível em alguma parte do video. Eu achei sem problemas e abri o template facilmente.
