Customizable Generic Cyberpunk Building Papercraft - by Papermau The Model Finished - Download Next Week!

I had mentioned that I would publish this papercraft of a Customizable Generic Cyberpunk Building in the first week of July, but the truth is that I wasn’t satisfied with the result and kept tweaking it until I achieved what I wanted. 

I think I finally reached the effect I was aiming for, especially with the billboards and neon signs. So next week, I’ll be posting the templates here on the blog. 

As I mentioned in another post, all the building’s textures, as well as the posters simulating electronic screens and glowing panels, were created with the help of artificial intelligence. 

This allowed me to experiment freely and achieve a look that combines decaying urban elements with the saturated glow that defines the cyberpunk style. 

The ideograms on the posters look like Asian characters, but they actually don’t mean anything. I even tried Google Translate and got nowhere. The AI simply generated random symbols, so we can just pretend it’s some kind of alien language. 

I printed the test version and everything fit together perfectly. Now I just need to organize the parts so they use as few sheets as possible. 

By Friday at the latest, I’ll release the model. For now, enjoy some photos that give a glimpse of the build.

Eu havia dito que publicaria este papercraft de um Edifício Cyberpunk Genérico Personalizável na primeira semana de julho, mas a verdade é que eu não estava satisfeito com o resultado e continuei mexendo nele até conseguir o que queria.

Acho que agora alcancei o efeito que estava buscando, especialmente com as placas de propaganda e letreiros. 

Então, na próxima semana, publico os templates aqui no blog. Como já mencionei em outro post, todas as texturas do prédio, assim como os pôsteres que simulam telas eletrônicas e painéis luminosos, foram criados com a ajuda de inteligência artificial. 

Isso me permitiu experimentar à vontade e chegar a um visual que mistura elementos urbanos decadentes com o brilho saturado característico do estilo cyberpunk. 

Os ideogramas que aparecem nos pôsteres parecem asiáticos, mas na verdade não querem dizer nada. Testei no Google Tradutor e não consegui identificar nada. A IA simplesmente gerou caracteres aleatórios, então podemos fingir que seja uma linguagem alienígena. 

Imprimi a versão de testes e tudo se encaixou perfeitamente. Agora só falta organizar as peças de modo que ocupem menos folhas possíveis. 

No mais tardar, até sexta-feira o modelo estará disponível. Enquanto isso, fiquem com algumas fotos que mostram um pouco do resultado.

Ancient Egyptian Adobe House Paper Model - Version 02 by Papermau - Download Now!

Featuring three sheets for assembly and an optional fourth for the base, I’m excited to introduce the second version of the Ancient Egyptian Adobe House papercraft, inspired by the simple yet functional architecture of Ancient Egypt. 

This updated edition improves upon the first version, released on this blog last June (link at the end of the post). 

Included is a bilingual (English and Portuguese) text with fascinating facts about adobe houses, making it a perfect resource for school projects or educational presentations. 

This model draws inspiration from the stunningly recreated villages of Ancient Egypt in Assassin’s Creed Origins, including places like Siwa, Fayum, and Letopolis. 

The game’s architecture is grounded in real archaeological references, capturing the essence of Egyptian design with robust geometric shapes and authentic details. 

Adobe houses, made from sun-dried mud, were the cornerstone of Ancient Egyptian vernacular architecture. Their walls, wider at the base and slightly sloped toward the top, provided structural stability and kept interiors cool in the region’s arid climate. 

Some versions feature decorative bands near the roof, inspired by the Ptolemaic style, blending traditional Egyptian elements with Hellenistic influences. 

Flat roofs served as versatile extensions of living space, used for sleeping on warm nights, drying grains, or storing food. Small, high-placed windows ensured ventilation while blocking intense sunlight. 

Stone steps at entrances accommodated uneven terrain and offered protection against seasonal Nile flooding, a defining feature of Egyptian life. 

This papercraft captures the weathered charm of ancient structures, with textures mimicking cracks, peeling surfaces, and wall openings for a rustic, authentic look. 

Perfect for creating dioramas of Nile-side villages, this model is ideal for school projects, historical displays, or themed wargames.

Com três folhas destinadas à montagem e uma quarta opcional para a base, apresento a segunda versão do papercraft da Antiga Casa de Adobe Egípcia, inspirada na arquitetura simples e funcional do Egito Antigo. 

Esta edição traz melhorias em relação à primeira versão, publicada aqui no blog em junho passado (link no final do post). 

Incluí também um texto bilíngue (português e inglês) com curiosidades sobre as casas de adobe, perfeito para quem deseja usá-lo em projetos escolares ou apresentações educativas. 

Este modelo foi criado com base nas casas vistas no deslumbrante jogo Assassin’s Creed Origins, que recria com fidelidade vilarejos do Egito Antigo, como Siwa, Fayum e Letópolis. 

As construções do jogo, por sua vez, são inspiradas em referências arqueológicas reais, capturando a essência da arquitetura egípcia com formas geométricas robustas e detalhes autênticos. 

As casas de adobe, feitas de barro seco ao sol, eram a base da arquitetura popular no Egito Antigo. Suas paredes, mais largas na base e levemente inclinadas em direção ao topo, garantiam estabilidade estrutural e ajudavam a manter o interior fresco, essencial para o clima árido da região.

O papercraft reflete o desgaste natural do tempo, com texturas que simulam rachaduras, partes descascadas e aberturas nas paredes, evocando a estética rústica das construções reais. 

Este modelo é ideal para compor dioramas de vilarejos às margens do Nilo, perfeitos para projetos escolares, maquetes históricas ou wargames temáticos.

I Built The Polish Truck Fiat Polski 614 Miniature Paper Model by Exclusive Models

I’ve finally completed the assembly of the Polish Fiat Polski 614 truck, designed by the talented Konrad Supernak and Adam Wilczak from the Exclusive Models website. 

This model, in 1/72 scale, is perfect for dioramas and wargames, with all its parts fitting on just over half an A4 or Letter-sized sheet. 

Despite its small size, the level of detail is truly impressive. I decided to experiment and enlarged the templates to bring the model closer to 1/35 scale. 

Uncertain whether the parts would fit properly after the modification, I chose not to color the vehicle. 

The result was stunning, and the truck gained even more presence.The model is exceptionally well-designed and relatively easy to assemble. 

The instructions are detailed and clear, though they might feel a bit technical for less experienced modelers, which could require some extra patience.

Finalmente concluí a montagem do caminhão polonês Fiat Polski 614, projetado pelos talentosos designers Konrad Supernak e Adam Wilczak, do site Exclusive Models. 

Este modelo, na escala 1/72, é perfeito para dioramas e wargames, com todas as peças ocupando pouco mais da metade de uma folha A4 ou Carta. 

Apesar do tamanho reduzido, o nível de detalhamento é impressionante.Decidi experimentar e ampliei os templates para aproximar o modelo da escala 1/35. 

Como não tinha certeza se as peças se encaixariam corretamente após a alteração, optei por não colorir o veículo. 

O resultado foi surpreendente e o caminhão ganhou ainda mais presença. O modelo é extremamente bem projetado e relativamente fácil de montar. 

As instruções são detalhadas e claras, embora possam parecer um pouco técnicas para modelistas menos experientes, o que talvez exija um pouco mais de paciência.

Generic Ancient Ruins Stand Papercraft For Dioramas And Wargames by Papermau - Download Now!

A few years ago, I created this papercraft and completely forgot about it. Today, while browsing through old files, I rediscovered it and realized it was nearly complete, needing only minor tweaks like adding tabs and organizing the pieces into a single PDF file. 

This is a simple model, made up of four sheets, perfect for dioramas, miniature stands, schoolworks or medieval and fantasy-themed wargame settings. 

As shown in the third image of this post, by assembling three of these stands and arranging them as in the example, you’ll create a charming ancient courtyard, adorned with columns that evoke the atmosphere of bygone eras.

Há alguns anos, criei este papercraft e acabei esquecendo dele. Hoje, enquanto revisava arquivos antigos, reencontrei-o e percebi que estava praticamente pronto, precisando apenas de ajustes finais, como a inclusão de abas e a organização das peças em um único arquivo PDF. 

Este é um modelo simples, composto por quatro folhas, ideal para dioramas, stands de miniaturas, trabalhos escolares ou cenários de wargames com temática medieval ou de fantasia. 

Como mostrado na terceira imagem deste post, ao montar três desses stands e dispô-los conforme o exemplo, você terá um encantador pátio antigo, decorado com colunas que evocam um ar de tempos imemoriais.

How To Make A Cardboard Titanic Floating Ship - by Model Lover

Here's a fine paper and cardboard model of the Titanic, the legendary ship that went down in history as "unsinkable" and, on its maiden voyage in 1912, collided with an iceberg, resulting in one of the greatest maritime tragedies of all time, with over 1,500 lives lost. 

This model was created by the enigmatic designer known as Model Lover, who also goes by names like John Vector, Eugene, or John Baker, depending on the platform where he appears. 

His true identity remains a mystery: some say he’s Russian but lives in Vietnam, Turkey, or even Kyrgyzstan. Is he a secret agent passionate about papercraft or just someone with a peculiar sense of humor? No one knows for sure. 

What truly matters is the exceptional quality of his models. With realistic textures, practical assembly, and instructions often provided in video format, his creations typically revolve around military vehicles like tanks, trucks, and planes, but also include gems like this magnificent Titanic. 

The model takes up just four sheets, and in the tutorial video, Model Lover demonstrates its construction by gluing the printed templates onto cardboard, using hot glue and clear adhesive tape. 

His goal? To create a model capable of floating on water! In the video, he shows the step-by-step assembly and how to waterproof the paper with adhesive tape, ensuring the Titanic can sail. 

Model Lover also included a small iceberg, in case you want to create a diorama.
