I Built the Miniature Ambulance Paper Toy And Took A Few Photos

I assembled the miniature ambulance paper toy published here on the blog last month, and it ended up measuring approximately 8.5 cm in length, 6.0 cm in height, and 4.0 cm in width, printed on an A4-sized sheet. 

If you choose to print it on Letter-size paper, the dimensions will remain practically the same, since Letter format is only 6 mm wider, and that rarely affects the final size. Printers usually center the content without stretching it to fill the page. 

This model was designed to be simple, fun, and quick to assemble, using just a single printed sheet. 

Ideal for dioramas, architectural models, or simply for those who enjoy collecting miniature vehicles, the ambulance was entirely designed in SketchUp and then "unfolded" for paper assembly using Pepakura. 

With a classic design and easy assembly, it is perfect for beginners and experienced papercrafters alike. 

The McDonald's stand, published here on the blog in December 2023, pairs really well with this ambulance. You will find the download links for both models just below.

Eu montei o paper toy da ambulância em miniatura publicado aqui no blog mês passado, e ela ficou com aproximadamente 8,5 cm de comprimento, 6,0 cm de altura e 4,0 cm de largura, lembrando que a imprimi em uma folha de formato A4. 

Se você optar por imprimir no formato Carta, as medidas serão praticamente as mesmas, pois, embora o formato Carta seja 6 mm mais largo, isso raramente altera o tamanho do modelo. As impressoras geralmente centralizam o conteúdo sem distorcê-lo para preencher a folha. 

Este modelo foi criado para ser simples, divertido e rápido de montar, ocupando apenas uma folha impressa.

Ideal para dioramas, maquetes ou simplesmente para quem gosta de colecionar miniaturas de veículos, a ambulância foi inteiramente desenhada no SketchUp e depois "desmontada" no Pepakura para montagem em papel. 

Com um design clássico e uma montagem descomplicada, ela é perfeita tanto para iniciantes quanto para papercrafters mais experientes.

The Wild Robot - Roz The Robot Paper Toy - by Universal Studios & Odeon Cinemas

Mooneyes & Speed Rascal Slingshot Dragster Paper Toys In SD Style by Papermau - Download Now!

These paper toys of two SD-style (super deformed) slingshot dragsters each fit on a single printed sheet and are very easy to assemble. 

One of them is the Mooneyes, inspired by the famous dragster of the same name, the kind that even people who know nothing about drag racing have probably seen somewhere. The other is the Speed Rascal, an original creation of mine. 

If you place a coin inside the rear section (as shown in the sixth photo), the little car will tilt upward, as if launching in a wheelie toward the finish line. 

The Mooneyes Dragster, created by Dean Moon in the late 1950s, is one of the most iconic slingshot dragsters of the golden age of drag racing. 

With the engine up front and the driver seated behind the rear axle, this style of car made its mark on American tracks, especially in the Top Gas category, which used gasoline as fuel. 

More than just speed, the Mooneyes stood out for its bold design and the unmistakable yellow "eyes", the symbol of the Mooneyes brand, which became a global icon in the custom and hot rod culture. 

In 1963, the Mooneyes made history as the first American dragster to compete in Japan, during a demonstration event that helped popularize American motorsports in the country and laid the foundation for the Japanese custom scene. 

Today, the Mooneyes Dragster is more than just a racing machine, it's an automotive culture icon, a symbol of an era when creativity and speed went hand in hand.

Estes paper toys de dois slingshot dragsters em estilo SD (super deformado) ocupam apenas uma folha impressa cada um e são bem fáceis de montar. 

O Mooneyes foi inspirado no famoso dragster homônimo que até quem não sabe nada de corridas de dragsters já deve ter visto em algum lugar, e o outro é o Speed Rascal, uma invenção minha. 

Se você colocar uma moeda na parte traseira, por dentro (sexta foto), o carrinho ficará empinado, em uma arrancada rumo a linha de chegada. 

O Mooneyes Dragster, criado por Dean Moon no final dos anos 1950, é um dos mais emblemáticos slingshot dragsters da era dourada do drag racing. 

Equipado com motor dianteiro e piloto posicionado atrás do eixo traseiro, esse estilo de carro marcou época nas pistas americanas, especialmente na categoria Top Gas, que utilizava gasolina como combustível. 

Mais do que velocidade, o Mooneyes se destacou pelo visual arrojado e pelos inconfundíveis "olhinhos" amarelas, símbolo da marca Mooneyes, que virou referência na cultura custom e hot rod mundial. 

Em 1963, o Mooneyes fez história ao ser o primeiro dragster americano a competir no Japão, durante uma exibição que ajudou a popularizar o automobilismo americano no país e lançou as bases para a cena custom japonesa. 

Hoje, o Mooneyes Dragster é mais do que uma máquina de corrida: é um ícone da cultura automotiva, símbolo de uma era onde criatividade e velocidade andavam lado a lado.
