Star Wars Day - The Great Star Wars Paper Toy Collection by Cube Fold

Yesterday, May 4th, was Star Wars Day and I missed it. Today, to compensate, I leave this post originally published here on the blog in 2019. 

From Star Wars universe, here are the most iconic characters of the classic Sci-Fi saga, all in cool paper toy versions created by North American designer Calvin Nicholas Lin, from Cubefold website. 

You will find Darth Vader, Bobba Fett, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Princess Lea, Finn, Rey, Kylo Ren, C-3PO and R2-D2, Luke Skywalker and much more.

Created by Japanese designer Shunichi Makino and occupying only two printed sheets, this ingenious Millenium Falcon pop-up card from Star Wars universe is very easy-to-build and I believe it will open a smile on the face of all fans of the saga.

Star Wars - Boba Fett Paper Model - Version II - by Noturno Sukhoi

Created by Brazilian designers Noturno and Sukhoi and assembled by the talented model maker Pitersimom, here is a really cool paper model in 1/6 scale (approximately 30 cm tall) of Boba Fett, the bounty hunter from the original trilogy of Star Wars universe.  

This is the second version of Boba Fett made by Noturno and Sukhoi and in the photos that illustrate this post, you see both versions, side by side and, below, the links to both versions. 

You will find the models in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the models with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D. 

Using Pepakura, when the file opens, you will be asked for a password. Just ignore it and click on the option "open with Pekaura Viewer" that appears right below the password space.

Criado pelos designers brasileiros Noturno e Sukhoi e montado pelo talentoso modelista Pitersimom, eis aqui um modelo de papel bem legal na escala 1/6 (aproximadamente 30 cms de altura) do Boba Fett,o caçador de recompensas da trilogia original do universo de Star Wars. 

Esta é a segunda versão do Boba Fett feita por Noturno e Sukhoi e nas fotos que ilustram este post, você vê as duas versões, lado a lado e, logo abaixo os links para as duas versões. 

Você encontrará os modelos em dois formatos: PDF e PDO (Pepakura), então você pode usar o PDF para imprimir as peças e o PDO como guia de montagem, já que com ele você pode visualizar os modelos em 3D.

Star Wars - TIE- Fighter Paper Model - Revised - by Sci-Fi Papercraft

Japanese designer Shunichi Makino from Sci-Fi Papercraft website created this paper model version of the TIE-Fighter, from Star Wars universe, originally in 2002. 

Now, twenty one years later, he launches the second version, full of improvements, making the model so faithful Like plastic kits sold for a few tens of dollars.

O designer japonês Shunichi Makino, do site Sci-Fi Papercraft, criou este modelo em papel da TIE-Fighter, do universo de Star Wars, originalmente no ano de 2002. 

Agora, vinte e um anos depois, ele lança a segunda versão, cheia de melhoramentos, fazendo com que o modelo seja tão fiel quanto os kits plásticos vendidos por algumas dezenas de dolares.
