SpaceX Falcon Heavy Paper Model In 1/300 Scale - by Paper Replika

Created by Indonesian designer Julius Perdana, from Paper Replika website, this is the paper model version in 1/300 scale of the SpaceX Falcon Heavy Rocket. Falcon Heavy is a partially-reusable heavy-lift launch vehicle designed and manufactured by SpaceX. It is derived from the Falcon 9 vehicle and consists of a strengthened Falcon 9 first stage as a central core with two additional first stages as strap-on boosters.
This increases the low Earth orbit (LEO) maximum payload to 63,800 kilograms (140,700 lb), compared to 22,800 kg (50,300 lb) for a Falcon 9 Full Thrust, 28,790 kg (63,470 lb) for Delta IV Heavy, 27,500 kg (60,600 lb) for the Space Shuttle and 140,000 kg (310,000 lb) for Saturn V. About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents. I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like. With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation. The Ephemeral Museum is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years. I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

Eu "estou no papelmodelismo" desde 2005, embora eu já tivesse contato com modelos de papel desde minha infância, nos anos 1970, via revistas que eram vendidas esporadicamente em bancas de jornal. Lembro que haviam revistas com casas para montar e dioramas/playsets de aeroportos, fortes-apache, presépios e coisas do tipo. Com o advento da internet o que houve foi simplesmente um renascimento do hobby do papelmodelismo para mim e muitas outras pessoas de minha geração. O Ephemeral Museum é um lugar aonde irei mostrar alguns dos modelos que eu construí em todos estes anos. Também gostaria que esse fosse um espaço aonde todos os amigos modelistas pudessem mostrar seus trabalhos, sendo assim, se alguém quiser participar deste "museu", basta mandar fotos de seu trabalho e algumas palavras para o e-mail abaixo:

From Wurlington Press publisher here are two very well done miniatures of two North American landmarks: the Cliff House, a 1/750 scale model of San Francisco's long-lost gingerbread palace overlooking the Pacific which burned down in 1907 and the Split Rock Lighthouse, a 1/300 scale model of the picturesque lighthouse located southwest of Silver Bay, Minnesota, USA on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

A very well done paper model created by Indonesian designer Julius Perdana, from Paper Replika website, of the Saturn V Rocket with Launch Pad, occuping 9 sheets of paper, around 40 cm tall and in 1/300 scale. - "On July 20th 1969, this massive machine blasted out to the blue sky and entering mankind to a whole new level. This rocket Saturn V SA-506 was used to propelled 3 brave men to the space and finally stepped their feet on moon's soil accomplished their Apollo mission, the 11th mission. They are Neil A. Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin E. "Buzz" Aldrin, Jr. Saturn V was continue to be use to bring many astronauts to the moon until 5th times on Apollo 17 mission in 1972. Saturn V services ended in 1973 after accomplished Skylab program." - Julius Perdana

Um modelo de papel muito bem feito do Foguete Saturn V com sua Torre de Lançamento, criação do designer indonésio Julius Perdana, do site Paper Replika. Projetado para levar três astronautas da Apollo à Lua e voltar, o Saturno V fez o seu primeiro teste de voo não tripulado em 1967. Um total de 13 foguetes Saturno V foram lançados a partir de 1967 até 1973, realizando as missões Apollo, assim como a estação espacial Skylab. Cada parte do foguete gigante é usado e depois descartado durante a missão. Apenas o pequeno módulo de comando sobrevive para retornar à Terra.

This really beautiful paper model of the Beijing Drum Tower in 1/300 scale was created by German designer Christoph Stahl, aka Stahlhart and here in this post you can see the model assembled by German modeler Seascape. Build under Emperor Yongle in 1420, the Beijing Drum Tower was the Center of time-keeping in the Capital city, announcing full hours by huge drums until 1924. The current structure was the result of repairs and reconstructions in 1800. In the end of this post you will find then link to download the model at Stahlhart`s website and the link to the tutorial created by Seascape at Kartonist.De Forum.

Este belíssimo modelo de papel da Torre dos Tambores de Pequim, na escala 1/300, foi criada pelo designer alemão Christoph Stahl, aka Stahlhart e aqui neste post você vê uma foto do modelo montado pelo modelista também alemão Seascape. Construído durante o reinado imperador Yongle em 1420, a Torre dos Tambores de Pequim era uma espécie de relógio da cidade, anunciando as horas cheias através do ribombar de seus enormes tambores até o ano de 1924. A torre que existe atualmente é resultado de reparos e reconstruções ocorridos entre os anos de 1800. This very well done paper model of the USS Independence Combat Ship in 1/300 scale, was created by the czech designers Rawen and MT, from PR Models website.
USS Independence is the lead ship of the Independence-class littoral combat ship. She is the sixth ship of the United States Navy to be named for the concept of independence. The design was produced by the General Dynamics consortium for the Navy's LCS program, and competes with the Lockheed Martin-designed Freedom variant. Independence, delivered to the Navy at the end of 2009, is a modular high speed corvette intended for operation in the littoral zone with a small crew. It is optimized for deploying and tending off-board systems, manned and unmanned; and takes on various capability profiles with the installation of a mission package, missions to include finding and destroying mines, hunting submarines in and near shallow water, and engaging in surface combat against boats, but not against warships. The ship is a trimaran design with a wide beam above the waterline, which provides the space needed for it to have a larger flight deck than is found on any of the much larger destroyers and cruisers in the US Navy, as well as a large hangar and a similarly large mission bay below. The trimaran hull configuration also exhibits low hydrodynamic drag, allowing efficient operation on two diesel powered water jets at speeds up to 18 knots (33 km/h; 21 mph), and high speed operation on two gas turbine powered water jets at speeds up to a sustainable 44 knots (81 km/h; 51 mph), with speed crests exceeding that. - Wikipedia
