A Hand Drawn Wooden Cabin Paper Model - by Papermau Download Now!

I leave here a very simple paper model of a wooden cabin. Yesterday I started to draw lines on a white sheet using a ruler and the cutting board as reference and suddenly I saw that it had a little house. So I made the roof and the base I scanned the model, cleaned the pencil lines with Paint.Net image editor and that's it! It is not a model with perfect fitting lines but I liked the result. I assembled the model in Sketchup and I can say that, although not perfect, it can be easily assembled. For those who want, the clean version is available for download on Google Drive.

Deixo aqui um modelo de papel bem simples de uma cabana de madeira. Ontém comecei a rabiscar linhas em uma folha branca usando uma régua e a prancha de corte com referência e de repente vi que tinha uma casinha. Fiz então o telhado e a base. Escaneei o modelo, limpei as linhas de lápis com o editor de imagens Paint.Net e pronto! Não é um modelo com linhas de encaixe perfeitas mas eu gostei do resultado. Montei o modelo no Sketchup e posso dizer que, apesar de não ser perfeito, pode ser facilmente montado. Para quem quiser, a versão limpa está disponível para download no Google Drive.

George Wood Cabin In Parowan Paper Model - by Ray Warner III

This is the George Wood Cabin. Originally built in 1851 in Parowan by George Wood, this pioneer cabin is the oldest in Southern Utah, USA. 

All credits about this model go to Mr. Ray Warner III who created the 3D model. I just did the transposition into the paper model.

Esta é a Cabana de George Wood. Originalmente construída em 1851 em Parowan, por George Wood, esta cabana de pioneiro é a mais antiga do sul de Utah, nos EUA. 

Todos os créditos sobre este modelo vão para o Sr. Ray Warner III que criou o modelo em 3D. Eu apenas fiz a transposição para o modelo de papel.

Toys In The Attic - The Swiss Wood Cabin Paper Model - by Papermau

This is the Swiss Wood Cabin, one of the first paper models I created in the far year of 2011. The original model took up three sheets, but in this revised version I was able to "squeeze" the pieces into just two sheets. 

It's all done on MsPaint and it's from a time when life was a lot less complicated and I had more time and patience to create. Anyway, good fun and good weekend everyone.

Esta é a Cabana de Madeira Suíça, um dos primeiros modelos de papel que criei no já distante ano de 2011. O modelo original ocupava três folhas, mas nesta versão revisada eu conseguí "espremer" as peças em apenas duas folhas. 

Ele foi todo feito no MsPaint e é de uma época em que a vida era bem menos complicada e eu tinha mais tempo e paciência para criar. De qualquer forma, boa diversão e bom final de semana à todos.

About Toys In The Attic by Papermau:

Toys in the Attic is the third album by American rock band Aerosmith, released in April 1975. Is also a name of a 1963`s drama movie with Dean Martin and Geraldine Page. Now, because this is a really nice name, this will be the name of a new session of Papermau`s blog. In this session I will share old original and exclusive paper models posted more than a year here in the blog. It's a way of not letting these models get lost among over 11.000 posts in almost ten years of the blog.

Toys in the Attic (Brinquedos no Sotão) é o nome do terceiro album da banda norte-americana de rock Aerosmith, lançado em 1975. É também o nome de um drama para o cinema de 1963 chamado aqui no Brasil de Na Voragem das Paixões, que contava no elenco com Dean Martin (o parceiro do Rat Pack e de Jerry Lewis) e Geraldine Page. Agora, porque eu acho esse um título muito legal, Toys in the Attic será o nome de uma nova sessão do blog Papermau. Nesta sessão eu publicarei antigos modelos de papel originais e exclusivos postados há um ano ou mais. Esta é a maneira que encontrei para que estes modelos não fiquem perdidos e esquecidos entre mais de 11.000 postagens feitas em quase 10 anos de existência do blog.

Perfeita para dioramas, maquetes ferroviárias ou jogos de RPG. com interior texturizado e teto removível. Eu não montei o modelo ainda, então não sei a escala exata. Se alguém montar e puder me informar a escala, eu ficarei muito grato. modelo em Sketchup incluído para auxiliar na montagem.

This model was made when I was thinking in those Zombie Movies, like 28 DAYS LATER or WALKING DEAD,when the survivors reach an abandoned cabin and prepare a kind of bunker to protect then against the zombie invasion. You can see there`s a dog house: a dog always alert about zombies in all movies. In the house they got a good provision of water and a little canoe, In the case of the zombies invade the house.

Este modelo eu fiz enquanto pensava em todos aqueles filmes de zumbis, como EXTERMÍNIO ou WALKING DEAD, quando os sobreviventes chegam em uma cabana abandonada e fazem dalí uma espécie de bunker. Vocês podem ver que há uma casa de cachorro, porquê os cães sempre latem quando os zumbis se aproximam nos filmes. Na casa há uma grande quantidade de água potável e uma pequena canoa amarrada em lugar estratégico, para o caso de os feiosos conseguirem invadir a casa.

Cuidado!!! O Dia-Z está próximo!!! Construa sua cabana e fique à salvo!
