Here are the first photos of the test build, or beta, of the Amazonian River Boat. I'll try to publish it by Sunday, but the truth is that I'm still struggling with some parts to make the model less complicated at the time of assembly.
Anyway, it was good to know that the model is "buildable" and that all the parts fit in their proper places.
I used 180-weight recycled paper which has a color that resembles burnt cement and gave the model a really nice look.
This grammage makes the boat have a very strong structure, but I believe that 150 or even 120 grams are enough. More soon.
Aqui estão as primeiras fotos da montagem de teste, ou beta, do Amazonian River Boat. Eu vou tentar publicá-lo até domingo, mas a verdade é que eu ainda estou brigando com algumas peças para fazer o modelo menos complicado na hora da montagem.
De qualquer forma, foi bom saber que o modelo é "montável" e que todas as peças se encaixam em seus devidos lugares.
Eu usei papel reciclado de gramatura 180 que tem uma cor que se assemelha a cimento queimado e deu uma aparência bem legal ao modelo.
Essa gramatura faz com que o barco tenha uma estrutura bem forte, mas creio que 150 ou mesmo 120 gramas já sejam o bastante. Mais em breve.
