This paper model is from the beginning of the 20th century and comes from Germany, published by the defunct Herma publishing house. It operated in northern or eastern Bohemia in the Sudetenland, probably in the 1920s and 1940s. This small diorama represents a typical hut of Śnieżne Kotły, two glacial circuses located in Poland, in the Sudetes, in the Karkonosze National Park. They are a unique example of the alpine landscape in the area and have been a nature reserve since 1933.
