A nice little truck in 1/100 scale, by Czech website Minimodel.Cz. Tatra is a vehicle manufacturer in Kopřivnice, Czech Republic. The company was founded in 1850 as Schustala & Company, later renamed Nesselsdorfer Wagenbau-Fabriksgesellschaft, a wagon and carriage manufacturer, and in 1897 produced the first motor car in central Europe, and one of the first cars in world, the Präsident automobil. In 1918, it changed its name to Kopřivnická Vozovka a.s. and, in 1919, started to use the Tatra badge named after the nearby Tatra mountains in Slovakia. Tatra is the third oldest car maker in the world after Daimler and Peugeot.


Um modelo bem bacana de um caminhão Tcheco da Tatra, em escala 1/100. Tatra é uma fábrica de veículos situada em Kopřivnice, na República Tcheca. A companhia foi fundada em 1850 e mudou de nome várias vezes, até que, em 1919, ao mudar suas instalações para o sopé das montanhas Tatra, adotou esse nome. A companhia Tatra fabricou o primeiro veículo motorizado da Europa Central e um dos primeiros carros do mundo, o Präsident automobil. É a terceira mais antiga fabricante de veículos motorizados do mundo, atrás apenas da Daimler e da Peugeot.
