Genshin Impact - Nahida Paper Toy - by Paperized Crafts

Created by my friend, the Philippine designer and modeler Paulo, from Paperized website, this is the paper toy version of Nahida , a playable character in Genshin Impact.  

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action RPG developed and published by the Chinese developer miHoYo. The game features a fantasy open-world environment and action based combat system using elemental magic, character switching, and gacha monetization system for players to obtain new characters, weapons, and other resources. 

The game can only be played with an internet connection and features a limited multiplayer mode allowing up to four players in a world. The game was released "worldwide" on September 28, 2020 for PC, iOS/Android, and PlayStation 4. 

The game was also released on November 11, 2020 on the PlayStation 5, featuring cross-save support with the PlayStation 4. The game is also planned to release on the Nintendo Switch as well.

Criado por meu amigo, o designer e modelista filipino Paulo, do site Paperized, esta é a versão paper toy de Nahida , uma personagem jogável em Genshin Impact.  

Genshin Impact é um RPG de ação gratuito desenvolvido e publicado pelo desenvolvedor chinês miHoYo. O jogo apresenta um ambiente de mundo aberto de fantasia e sistema de combate baseado em ação usando magia elemental, troca de personagem e sistema de monetização para os jogadores obterem novos personagens, armas e outros recursos. 

O jogo só pode ser jogado com uma conexão à Internet e possui um modo multiplayer limitado que permite até quatro jogadores em um mundo. O jogo foi lançado "mundialmente" em 28 de setembro de 2020 para PC, iOS / Android e PlayStation 4. 

Também foi lançado em 11 de novembro de 2020 no PlayStation 5, apresentando suporte para salvamento cruzado com o PlayStation 4. O jogo também está planejado para lançamento no Nintendo Switch.

Male Tiger Miniature Paper Model - by Katsuyuki Shiga

Occupying only two sheets of paper, this miniature Male Tiger was created by Japanese designer Katsuyuki Shiga, commissioned by Canon website. 

This paper model is part of the Real Animals Series.

Iglesia Santa Comba de Bande Paper Model In 1/100 Scale by Secanda Models

This stuning paper model in 1/100 scale of the Iglesia Santa Comba de Bande was created by my friend, the great French designer and modeler Secanda. 

About this model he says: - "The church Santa Comba de Bande is a small Spanish church from the Visigothic period. Its plan is in Greek cross. Despite its respectable age (it is dated from the 7th century) its state of conservation is remarkable. All the roofs of the model are removable in order to observe the inner layout." 

"Many thanks, Secanda, for more one great model! Greetings from Brazil to France!" - Mauther 

The entire model takes up seven printed sheets, but the PDF is made up of 20 sheets. The remaining thirteen leaves contain the history of this ancient church (in French and English) as well as instructions. 

The model is 1/100 scale and for sturdy construction, Secanda recommends printing on 120 or 160 weight paper. 

Some curiosities about Secanda and his creative process, in his own words: - "Secanda means "stuff to cut" in Latin language. I use just an old basic multilayer photo editor, that I use as a paper with pencil and compass. 

I don't use 3D editors because first I don't know at all how to use them and then I don't like very much the paper models made only with 3D tools.  For my taste, they look often as nightclub mirror balls...For my taste again, it's better to feel the hand of the drawer even if the result is rougher and less perfect. 

However the real reason is maybe I'm too lazy or too stupid or too old, or the three in the same time, to learn how to use a 3D editor."

Este impressionante modelo de papel na escala 1/100 da Iglesia Santa Comba de Bande foi criado pelo meu amigo, o grande designer e modelista francês Secanda. 

Sobre esse modelo ele diz: - "A igreja Santa Comba de Bande é uma pequena igreja espanhola do período Visigótico. Sua planta é em cruz grega. Apesar de sua respeitável idade (é datada do século VII) o seu estado de conservação é extraordinário. Todos os tetos do modelo são removíveis para observar o interior layout."

O modelo todo ocupa sete folhas impressas, mas o PDF é composto de 20 folhas. As treze folhas restantes contém a história dessa antiga igreja (em francês e inglês) e também as instruções. 

O modelo está na escala 1/100 e para uma construção resistente, Secanda recomenda a impressão em papel de gramatura 120 ou 160. 

Algumas curiosidades sobre Secanda e seu processo criativo, nas palavras do próprio: - "Secanda significa "coisas para cortar" em latim. Eu uso apenas um velho editor de fotos básico multicamadas, que uso como papel, lápis e compasso. 

Eu não uso editores 3D porque primeiro eu não sei como usá-los e eu não gosto muito dos modelos de papel feitos apenas com ferramentas 3D. Para o meu gosto, eles parecem frequentemente com bolas espelhadas de discoteca Na minha opinião novamente, é melhor sentir a mão no desenho, mesmo se o resultado for mais rude e menos perfeito. 

No entanto, a verdadeira razão é que talvez eu seja muito preguiçoso ou muito estúpido ou muito velho, ou os três ao mesmo tempo, para aprender como usar um editor 3D."

A Geisha Bust Decorative Paper Model - by Mugi - via Paper-Craft Blog

This model was already posted here on the blog in 2011, but the original link was dead, so here is again Maiko-San, the Geisha, in a stunning paper model version created by Japanese designer Mugi and originally posted at Paper-Craft Blog website. 

When you visit Mugi's website, you will see that there are three download links (blue, yellow and red icons). 

Each of these links contains the complete model with detailed instructions, and the link color is the same as the Geisha costume. The red link is not working.

Este modelo já foi postado aqui no blog em 2011, mas o link original estava inativo, então eis aqui novamente Maiko-San, a Gueixa, em uma impressionante versão em papel criada pelo designer japonês Mugi e originalmente publicado no site Paper-Craft Blog. 

Quando você visitar o site de Mugi, verá que há três links para download (ícones azul, amarelo e vermelho). 

Cada um desses links contém o modelo completo com instruções detalhadas, sendo que a cor do link é a mesma do traje da Gueixa. O link vermelho não está funcionando.
