German Armed Forces Former M-Boot Paper Model In 1/30 Scale by Kallboys

Our German friends from Kallboys website kindly offer a new paper model, a German Armed Forces Former M-Boot in 1/30 scale. 

About this model, they said: - "If you walk north along the Rheinallee in Mondorf, you will soon see the great hall of the Lux shipyard on Moselstrasse. Large ships and ferries have been built here since 1963.

As a tireless helper, a former M-Boot of the German Armed Forces does his job here, to maneuver new buildings on the water and repair orders out of the water.

The German Armed Forces needed powerful pushers and tugs for the construction and operation of means of crossing, especially for stretches of bridges and ferries on inland waterways. 

The boat had to meet requirements in terms of manoeuvrability, thrust, speed, stability and carrying capacity.

The model includes 275 parts and is at a scale of 1/30."

This Is Not Paper, But... - A First Experience With Styrofoam Models

I got a 6.0mm styrofoam board and decided to try to create something. Before, I watched some tutorials on Youtube and found the techniques used to shape and texture this material very interesting.

The result I've achieved so far, as you can see, is pretty rudimentary, but I had a lot of fun cutting and creating 3D textures.

For coloring I used matte black acrylic paint as a base and then, using the dry brush technique, I applied two coats of white, also using matte acrylic paint. After it dried well, I used gouache paints to color it, because they were the only colored paints I had, but I ended up liking the result.

The colors were kind of pastel and not shiny, and that's what I wanted. As soon as I make more progress, I'll post it here on the blog.

I'll see if I can scan the parts and create paper models. We will see...

Eu arranjei uma placa de isopor de 6,0 mm e resolvi tentar criar algo. Antes, assisti alguns tutoriais no Youtube e achei bem interessante as técnicas usadas para moldar e texturizar esse material.

O resultado que consegui até agora, como vocês podem ver, é bem rudimentar, mas eu me diverti bastante cortando e criando texturas em 3D.

Para colorir eu usei tinta acrílica preta fosca como base e depois, usando a técnica do pincel seco, dei duas mãos de branco, também usando tinta acrílica fosca. Depois de bem seco, usei tintas guache para colorir, porque eram as únicas tintas coloridas que eu tinha, mas acabei gostando do resultado.

As cores ficaram meio pastel e não ficaram brilhantes, e eram assim que eu queria. Assim que eu fizer mais avanços, posto aqui no blog.

Vou ver se eu consigo escanear as peças e criar modelos de papel. Vamos ver...

Offered by Paper Diorama, Italian website, here are the papercrafts in 1/66 scale of the Fiat 666 NM Truck and the Ansaldo Fiat L6/40 Light Tank. 

The Fiat 666 was a heavy truck produced by the Italian Fiat Veicoli Industriali. The 666, like the corresponding medium-sized Fiat 626, was produced from 1940 as “Unified” truck: since 1937, by law, the War Department required all manufacturers of civilian trucks to have standard features regarding weight, number of axles, speed and capacity, in order to simplify logistics in case of requisition by the armed forces. 

The 626 and the 666, which replaced on assembly lines, respectively, the Fiat 621 and Fiat 632, were the first trucks of the Turin with forward control, and with the engine totally contained inside the cabin. 

The L6/40 was a light tank used by the Italian army from 1940 through World War II It was designed by Ansaldo as an export product, and was adopted by the Italian Army when officials learned of the design and expressed interest. 

It was the main tank employed by the Italian forces fighting on the Eastern Front alongside the L6/40-based Semovente 47/32 self-propelled gun. L6/40s were also used in the North African campaign.The official Italian designation was Carro Armato (“armored vehicle”, i.e. “tank”) L6/40.

Oferecido pelo ite italiano Paper Diorama, aqui estão os papercrafts na escala 1/66 do Caminhão Fiat 666 NM e do Tanque Leve Ansaldo Fiat L6/40. O Fiat 666 era um caminhão pesado produzido pela italiana Fiat Veicoli Industriali. O 666, assim como o correspondente Fiat 626 de médio porte, foi produzido a partir de 1940 como caminhão “Unificado”: desde 1937, por lei, o Departamento de Guerra exigia que todos os fabricantes de caminhões civis tivessem características padrão quanto ao peso, número de eixos, velocidade e capacidade, a fim de simplificar a logística em caso de requisição pelas forças armadas.

O 626 e o 666, que substituíram nas linhas de montagem, respectivamente, o Fiat 621 e o Fiat 632, foram os primeiros caminhões de Turim com controle avançado e com o motor totalmente contido dentro da cabine.

O L6/40 era um tanque leve usado pelo exército italiano de 1940 até o fim da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Foi projetado por Ansaldo como um produto de exportação e foi adotado pelo exército italiano quando os oficiais souberam do projeto e manifestaram interesse.

Foi o principal tanque empregado pelas forças italianas lutando na Frente Oriental ao lado do canhão autopropulsado Semovente 47/32 baseado em L6/40. Os L6/40 também foram usados na campanha do norte da África. A designação oficial italiana era Carro Armato (“veículo blindado”, ou seja, “tanque”) L6/40.

Protestant Church In Oberkassel Paper Model In 1/200 Scaleby Kallboys

This is the Protestant Church of Oberkassel, in Germany. This church was built in 1683 and is one of the oldest Protestant churches in the Renany. 

This paper model is in 1/200 scale and was created by Kallboys team. A nice model for Dioramas, RPG and Wargames.

Esta é a Igreja Protestante de Oberkassel, na Alemanha. Ela foi construída em 1683 e é uma das mais antigas igrejas protestantes da Renânia. 

Este modelo de papel na escala 1/200 foi criado pelo pessoal do site Kallboys. Um modelo bem legal para Dioramas, RPG e Wargames.

Some of these models have been posted here on the blog a few years ago, so it's always good to remember that they are all free to download and were created by my friend, the German designer and modeler Boris Voigt, from Projekt Bastelbogen, educational website. 

They are all in 1/72 scale and are perfect for Train Sets Dioramas, RPG And Wargames.

Alguns destes modelos já foram postados aqui no blog há alguns anos atrás, então sempre é bom lembrar que todos são gratuítos para download e foram criados pelo meu amigo, o designer e modelista alemão Boris Voigt, do site educativo Projekt Bastelbogen. 

Eles estão todos na escala 1/72 e são perfeitos para Maquetes Ferroviárias, Dioramas, RPG e Wargames.

Today I found some more old models that luckily I saved on an old cd. I found a series of rustic houses (photo below) that I created in April 2009, and I know the exact date because it is recorded in the photo info of the first digital camera I ever owned, a Samsung Digimax 301.

Today I present here the first of a series of three and in the next few days I will publish the other two. The model is very simple and I didn't make any changes.

I left everything as it was when I created it using MsPaint, both for the design and for the application of textures. Have fun!

Hoje eu encontrei mais alguns modelos antigos que por sorte, salvei em um velho cd. Eu encontrei uma série de casas rústicas (foto acima) que eu criei em Abril de 2009, e eu sei a data exata porque ela está gravada nos infos da foto da primeira máquina digital que eu tive, uma Samsung Digimax 301.

Hoje apresento aqui a primeira da série de três e nos próximos dias publicarei as outras duas. O modelo é bem simples e eu não fiz nenhuma modificação.

Deixei tudo como na época que a criei usando o MsPaint, tanto para o design como para a aplicação de texturas. Boa montagem!
