Kadomatsu And Kumade - Japanese Lucky Items Papercrafts by Yamaha

Yamaha has arranged a special package of New Year's presents such as paper craft models of a Kadomatsu and a Kumade. 

These are typical symbols seen anywhere in Japan during the New Year's season. 

Kadomatsu is a decoration consisting of a pair of pine trees and bamboo stems. It is placed on both sides of the front entrance of a house from January 1-7. 

It symbolizes that the tree provides longevity, prosperity and purity for the descent of the Gods. 

Kumade literally means "Bear's hand." This tool is normally used as a broom for sweeping fallen leaves in Autumn. 

However, particularly during the New Year's celebration, this tool is believed to collect all happiness and wealth, and is mostly used now by people in business.

A Yamaha organizou um pacote especial de presentes de Ano Novo, como modelos artesanais de papel de um Kadomatsu e de um Kumade. 

Estes são símbolos típicos vistos em qualquer lugar do Japão durante a temporada de Ano Novo. 

Kadomatsu é uma decoração composta por um par de pinheiros e hastes de bambu. Ele é colocado em ambos os lados da entrada principal de uma casa de 1 a 7 de janeiro. 

Simboliza que a árvore proporciona longevidade, prosperidade e pureza para a descida dos Deuses. 

Kumade significa literalmente “mão do urso”. Esta ferramenta é normalmente usada como vassoura para varrer as folhas caídas no outono. 

No entanto, especialmente durante a celebração do Ano Novo, acredita-se que esta ferramenta recolhe toda a felicidade e riqueza, e é agora utilizada principalmente por pessoas no mundo dos negócios.

Christmas Time - Miniature Christmas Tree Papercraft For Kids Version 02 - by Niku Mansei

On Niku Mansei website from Japan you will find two very colorful and easy-to-assemble Christmas trees, suitable for children. 

The one I present today is the second version that, pay attention, to assemble it you have to print the foliage template four times and for the decorations, print one more sheet.

Esta que apresento hoje é a segunda versão que, preste atenção, para montá-la você tem que imprimir o template da folhagem quatro vezes e para os enfeites, imprima mais uma folha.

Christmas Time - Easy-To-Build Christmas Playset Diorama For Kids by Olis Bahnwelt

This easy-to-build decorative Christmas diorama papercraft is offered by Olis Bahnwelt, a German educative website.

The whole papercraft takes up four printed sheets and you will find Santa Claus with his sleigh and, if you look closely, you will see that Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer is there. 

There are also Santa's helpers carrying gifts to the sleigh and some beautiful snow-covered pine trees that complete the scene.

O papercraft todo ocupa quatro folhas impressas e você encontrará o Papai Noel com seu trenó e, se você reparar bem, verá que Rudolph, a rena do nariz vermelho está lá. 

Também estão lá os ajudantes do Papai Noel levando os presentes para o trenó e alguns belos pinheiros cobertos de neve que completam a cena.

The Witch's House In The Forest Paper Model - by Papermau Download Now!

This paper model of the Witch's House in the Forest was published here on Papermau only once in 2012, in the first year of the blog. Then, with several changes of computers and hard drives being burned, I thought I had lost the original templates for this model forever. 

But as when things have to be, the way they are, in old dusty boxes I found some CDs and pendrives (I've already talked about this in some posts) and inside one of them there were the original templates and some photos of the assembled model. 

I didn't make any changes to the templates (I just revised and edited them), but I had to use an artificial intelligence program to improve the quality of the photos, since they were old and the resolution was poor. 

This model was entirely made in MsPaint, from the lines and tabs to the application of textures and was created at a time when I had much more time and energy and life was much lighter and easier to live. It seems like we've been living in another world since then, doesn't it?

The whole model fits on three sheets of paper and you will see that there are two facade options, one with monsters and the other without, so just print the sheet with the facade you prefer. 

Most people won't have the patience to assemble the trees, as their leaves have to be cut and glued one by one, but the end result is very satisfactory. An alternative is to leave them bare, as if they were dead trees, since the diorama has a Halloween theme.

Este modelo de papel da Casa da Bruxa na Floresta foi publicado aqui no Papermau uma única vez em 2012, logo no primeiro ano de blog. Depois, com várias mudanças de de computadores e queimas de HDs, eu pensei que havia perdido os templates originais deste modelo para sempre. 

Mas como quando as coisas têm que ser, as coisa são, em velhas caixas empoeiradas eu achei alguns CDs e pendrives (já falei sobre isso em algumas postagens) e dentro de um deles haviam os templates originais e algumas fotos do mmodelo montado. 

Eu não fiz nenhuma alteração nos templates (apenas revisei e redatei), mas tive que usar um programa de inteligência artificial para melhorar a qualidade das fotos, já que eram antigas e a resolução era sofrível. 

Este modelo foi todo feito no MsPaint, desde as linhas e abas até a aplicação de texturas e foi criado em uma época em que eu tinha muito mais tempo e disposição e a vida era bem mais leve e fácil de levar. Parece que vivemos em outro mundo desde então, não é? 

O modelo todo cabe em três folhas de papel e vocÊs verão que há duas opções de fachada, uma com monstros e outras sem, então imprimam apenas a folha com a fachada que preferirem. 

A maioria das pessoas não terão paciência para montar as árvores, já que as folhas delas têm que ser recortadas e coladas uma a uma, mas o resultado final é muito satisfatório. Uma alternativa é deixá-las nuas, como se fossem árvores mortas, já que o diorama é com temática de Dia das Bruxas.

German Town Hall In Lindau Paper Model - by Ausschneide BogenLink Revised

This beautiful and very detailed paper model of the Town Hall In Lindau, Germany, is offered by Ausschneide Bogen website. 

A great model in N scale (1/160 scale) that is perfect for Dioramas, RPG and Wargames. This model occupies "only" 19 sheets of paper and measures 35,5 cm x 25 cm x 22 cm when printed in A4 format. 

The former town hall at Bismarckplatz, on the island of Lindau, was built in Gothic style between 1422 and 1436. In 1496, it hosted an important Imperial Diet convened by Maximilian I in the local council chamber. Currently, the meetings of the Lindau city council still take place in this historic location.

In 1576, during a renovation, the house's facade received a Renaissance addition with a stepped gable. In 1930, the facade was redesigned by the artist Wilhelm Nida-Rümelin, featuring motifs such as lime trees, farmers, fishermen, and even a sea monster. 

However, the depiction of the Dance of Death, with the struggle between heaven and earth portrayed by a skeleton and a nude woman, caused scandal. The Bavarian People's Party demanded the immediate removal of this erotic scene. 

Next to it is the new town hall, built between 1706 and 1717. Since 1806, it has served as the municipal chamber, with the mayor's apartment located on the 2nd floor. 

Since 2015, the new town hall has been exclusively a residential and commercial building. It is worth noting that the location features a carillon that plays every day at fifteen minutes to twelve.

Um ótimo modelo na escala N (escala 1/160), perfeito para Dioramas, RPG e Wargames. Este diorama ocupa "apenas" 19 folhas de papel e mede 35,5 cms x 25 cms x 22 cms quando impresso no formato A4.

A antiga prefeitura em Bismarckplatz, na ilha de Lindau, foi construída em estilo gótico entre 1422 e 1436. Em 1496, sediou uma importante Dieta Imperial convocada por Maximiliano I na câmara do conselho local. Atualmente, as reuniões do conselho da cidade de Lindau ainda ocorrem nesse local histórico.

Em 1576, durante uma reforma, a fachada da casa recebeu um acréscimo renascentista, com uma empena escalonada. Em 1930, a fachada foi redesenhada pelo artista Wilhelm Nida-Rümelin, apresentando motivos como tílias, agricultores, pescadores e até mesmo um monstro marinho.

No entanto, a representação da dança da morte, com a luta entre o céu e a terra retratada por um esqueleto e uma mulher nua, causou escândalo.

O Partido do Povo da Baviera exigiu a remoção imediata dessa cena erótica. Ao lado, encontra-se a nova prefeitura, construída entre 1706 e 1717. A partir de 1806, passou a ser a câmara municipal, com o apartamento do prefeito localizado no 2º andar. 

Desde 2015, a nova prefeitura é exclusivamente um edifício residencial e comercial. Destaque-se que o local conta com um carrilhão que toca todos os dias às quinze para as 12. Obrigado ao meu amigo Jo Kinzinger, dos EUA, por este belo achado!
