My friend, the French designer and modeler Secanda, from the great website Secanda Models, created this beautiful custom paper model of the Baroque Church and kindly, in addition to the beautiful photos that illustrate this post, he also made the templates available for everyone who wants to build their own Baroque Church.
I asked him to write a few lines for the post and he sent me the lines below, which explain a little the beautiful work he did, turning a very simple model into something much better than the original.

I built this model because I like architecture paper models and, as a French man, this Brazilian church looks very exotic and attractive for me!
Your original model being rather small (small is beautiful, I know :), I choose to enlarge it to roughly match the scale I'm used for my own paper models of churches and chapels: 1:100.
The walls of the model looking a bit flat after their enlargement, I added deep windows and doors and increased the thickness of the upper front wall. With these few additions, the look and feel of your original model remains the same: nice!
Best regards from Brittany where the beginning of summer is a bit cold (18°C this morning in my house, 19°C at most this afternoon, less outdoor). :-("

Meu amigo, o designer e modelista francês Secanda, do ótimo website Secanda Models, criou este belo modelo de papel personalizado da Igreja Barroca e gentilmente, além das belas fotos que ilustram este post, também disponibilizou os templates para tods que quiserem montar sua própria Igreja Barroca.
Eu pedi a ele que escrevesse alguma slinhas para o post e ele enviou-me as linhas abaixo, que explicam um pouco o belo trabalho que ele fez, tornando um modelo deveras simples em algo muito melhor que o original.

Construí este modelo porque gosto de modelos de papel de arquitetura e, como Francês, esta igreja brasileira me parece muito exótica e atraente!
Seu modelo original é bem pequeno (pequeno é lindo, eu sei :), eu optar por ampliá-lo para corresponder aproximadamente à escala que eu uso para o meu próprio modelos de papel de igrejas e capelas: 1:100.
As paredes do modelo parecendo um pouco planas após a ampliação, eu acrescentou janelas e portas profundas e aumentou a espessura da parte superior parede frontal. Com essas poucas adições, a aparência do seu original modelo continua o mesmo: legal!
