The Church of St. Johann Baptist was built in 1857 as a garrison church in neo-Romanesque style and was called the Warrior Memorial Church in the 1930s. It was given its current form according to the plans of the Cologne architect and builder Dominikus Böhm from 1922 to 1926. After its destruction on World War II, Böhm was commissioned to rebuild the church in the pre-war state. A 4 year renovation was completed in January 2020. St. Johann Baptist is one of the most important church buildings of the 20th century in the expressionist style.
Perfect for Dioramas, RPG and Wargames, this model is offered by Ausschneide Bogen, German website and you can choose between two different scales: 1/250 and N (1/160 scale). To 1/250 scale you will need 8 sheets of paper and to N scale you will need 18 sheets.

A Igreja de São João Batista foi construída em 1857 como uma guarnição em estilo neo-românico e foi chamada de Igreja Memorial do Guerreiro na década de 1930. Foi dada sua forma atual de acordo com os planos do arquiteto e construtor de Colônia Dominikus Böhm de 1922 a 1926. Após sua destruição na Segunda Guerra Mundial, Böhm foi contratado para reconstruir a igreja no estado anterior à guerra. Uma reforma de 4 anos foi concluída em janeiro de 2020. St. Johann Baptist é uma das igrejas mais importantes do século 20 no estilo expressionista.
