Egyptian Temple Entrance Paper Model - Download Next Week!

I started this model in 2014 but for some reason I don't remember now, I put it aside. 

Today, messing around in old folders in my crowded HD, I ended up finding the 3D model I made in Sketchup. 

I already "disassembled" everything, still using Sketchup and I also passed the result through Pepakura.

I then have the "skeleton" of everything. Now I have to arrange the parts, fix some textures and create the flaps. 

Later I will print the sheets and do a "beta" assembly, to see if everything fits well. I believe that by next week I will be able to publish the model here on the blog.

Eu comecei este modelo em 2014 mas por algum motivo que não lembro agora, eu o deixei de lado. 

Hoje, mexendo em antigas pastas em meu abarrotado HD, acabei achando o modelo em 3D que eu fiz no Sketchup. 

Já "desmontei" tudo, ainda usando o Sketchup e também já passei o resultado pelo Pepakura. Tenho então o "esqueleto" de tudo. 

Agora tenho que arranjar as peças, consertar algumas texturas e criar as abas. Depiis vou imprimir as folhas e fazer uma montagem "beta", para ver se tudo se encaixa bem. 

Creio que até a próxima semana já poderei publicar o modelo aqui no blog.

Church Of The Transfiguration In Russia Paper Model by K. Yoshinaka & STpers

Created by Japanese designers K. Yoshinaka & STpers exclusively for Canon website, here is an intricate paper model of the Church of the Transfiguration. 

The model is made up of 224 parts divided into 27 sheets of paper and, despite being a model full of details, or complex, as I said, the instructions are very well done and full of illustrations.

The Church Of The Transfiguration is a Russian Orthodox church located in the city of Kizhi, Russia. It was built in 1714 using nailless carpentry techniques and is made up of 22 domes interconnected by galleries.

It is famous for its unique architecture and beautiful wooden decoration. The church is part of the architectural and historical complex of Kizhi Island, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

O modelo é composto de 224 peças divididas em 27 folhas de papel e, apesar de ser um modelo cheio de detalhes, ou complexo, como eu havia dito, as instruções são muito bem feitas e cheias de ilustrações.

A Igreja da Transfiguração é uma igreja ortodoxa russa localizada na cidade de Kizhi, na Rússia. Ela foi construída em 1714, utilizando técnicas de carpintaria sem pregos e é composta por 22 cúpulas interligadas por galerias.

 É famosa por sua arquitetura única e bela decoração em madeira. A igreja faz parte do complexo arquitetônico e histórico da Ilha de Kizhi, que é um Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO.

Cinderella Castle - A Vintage Paper Model - Templates And Tutorial by Tiny Craft World

Nika, from Tiny Craft World website, is a designer and modeler and she built this beautiful vintage paper model of the Cinderella Castle. 

Nika suggests using paper that is slightly thicker than normal standard printing paper, unless you like a challenge. 

She made a very well done video tutorial that will leave no doubt for everyone who wants to build their own Cinderella Castle and also provides the link to the original papercraft (link at the end of this post as well) which was originally published in several issues of Mickey Mouse comic magazines during the year 1978. 

The original model takes up twelve printed sheets, but Nika has reduced everything to just two sheets, so if you want to put together Nika's version, good eyes and steady hands are essential.

Nika sugere o uso de papel ligeiramente mais espesso do que o papel de impressão padrão normal, a menos que você goste de um desafio.

Ela fez um video tutorial muito bem feito que não deixará dúvidas para todos que quiserem montar o seu próprio Castelo da Cinderella e também informa o link para o papercraft original (link no final desta postagem também) que foi originalmente publicado em várias edições das revistas em quadrinhos do Mickey Mouse durante o ano de 1978. 

O modelo original ocupa doze folhas impressas, mas Nika reduziu tudo em apenas duas folhas, então se você quiser montar a versão de Nika, bons olhos e mãos firmes são essenciais.
