Four Tudor-Style Houses Paper Models For Dioramas And Wargames by Dave Alcombe

Created by British designer and modeler Dave Alcombe, author of the great website Teetering by-the-Well and ideal for use in wargames and medieval-themed dioramas, these four Tudor-style houses (am I right?) are perfect for 25mm to 28 mm miniatures. 

From what I read on his website, Mr (Or Sir?) Alcombe worked for 26 years in the cellars of the British Parliament, so I think he must have some great stories to tell. I would love to hear them. 

A little tip for those who liked the houses and intend to download them: If you are going to download, click on the green arrows (written "HERE") so that the PDF templates open in a new page. 

Only then will you save the templates on your computer. If you try to save directly from the main page, when you open the PDF, you will get an error message.

Criadas pelo designer e modelista britânico Dave Alcombe, autor do ótimo website Teetering by-the-Well e ideiais para serem usadas em wargames e dioramas de temática medieval, estas quatro casas em estilo Tudor (estou certo?) são perfeitas para miniaturas de 25 mm a 28 mm. 

Pelo que eu li em seu website, o Sr (Ou Sir?) Alcombe trabalhou durante 26 anos nas adegas do Parlamento Britânico, então creio que ele deva te rótimas histórias para contar. Eu adoraria ouví-las. 

Uma pequena dica para aqueles que gostaram das casinhas e pretendem baixá-las: Se vocês forem baixar, cliquem nas setas verdes (escritas "AQUI") para que os templates em PDF abrem em uma nova página. 

Só então vocês salvarão os templates em seu computador. Se tentarem salvar direto da página principal, ao abrir o PDF, receberá uma mensagem de erro.

1960`s Pilatus Porter PC-6 Swiss Dhaulagiri Expedition Paper Model - by Schreiber Bogen

Offered by Schreiber Bogen, German website, here is a miniature model in only one sheet of paper of the iconic Pilatus Porter PC-6, used in the 1960`s Dhaulagiri Expedition. 

Pilatus Porter PC-6, called Yeti, was used on the Dhaulagiri expedition in 1960 and is known to be the only plane that landed and started at an altitude of 5700 m. Dhaulagiri is the seventh highest mountain in the world, one of the most formidable and deadliest to climb.

The Nepalese have always seen its peak like a white castle, floating over the clouds: that’s how they call it. 

Notorious for its bad weather, the Dhaulagiri massif is steadily tormented by storms and avalanches. It is not therefore surprising that 60years ago it was one of the last 8.000 m yet to be conquered. 

After bringing together 16 expert alpinists from five different countries the Swiss Max Eiselin decided it was time to play his chance to reach the top of the white mountain. The team was determined to try something never done before: approaching the majestic peak with a plane, landing on a glacier and from there launching the final assault to the summit.

But, like any story that is worth telling, the unexpected was right behind the corner and the 5th of May the plane “Yeti” crashed. Nobody was luckily injured but the disaster forced the team to split into three geographically isolated groups. - know more at Dhaulagiri Expedition at Dolomite

O Pilatus Porter PC-6, apelidado Yeti, foi usado na expedição Dhaulagiri em 1960 e é conhecido por ser o único avião que pousou e partiu a uma altitude de 5700 m. Dhaulagiri é a sétima montanha mais alta do mundo, uma das mais formidáveis e mortais para escalar.

Miniature World Collection - The Bakery Shop Paper Model Diorama by Minya & Yayoi Garuta

Occupying seventeen printed sheets, this paper model diorama of a beautiful and colorful Bakery was created by Japanese designers Minya and Yayoi Garuta for Canon website.
