Yury Torsky, the mysterious fan who became a meme with Brazil's flag in the broadcast of the game against Mexico, is Russian and lives in Samara. Yuri is 34 years old, single, and works at the Space Station in the city. At first glance, his grim expression gave the impression of a dislocated Black Metal fan, but then we discovered that Yuri is a sympathetic and expansive guy who even politely answer most of the commentaries on his social network. Now Yuri is considered a kind of amulet by the Brazilian fans and everyone expects him to attend the next games of the Brazilian team.


Yury Torsky, o torcedor misterioso que virou meme com bandeira do Brasil na transmissão do jogo contra o México, é russo e mora em Samara. Yuri tem 34 anos, é solteiro, e trabalha na Estação Espacial que há na cidade. Num primeiro momento, sua expressão meio que lúgubre deu a impressão de um fã de Black Metal meio deslocado, mas depois descobrimos que Yuri é um cara simpático e expanssivo, que inclusive responde amavelmente a maioria dos comentárias em sua rede social. Agora Yuri é considerado uma espécie de amuleto pelos torcedores brasileiros e todos esperam que ele compareça aos próximos jogos da equipe brasileira.
