Schönberg Observation Tower Paper Model - by Ausschneide Bogen

This paper model of the Schönberg Observation Tower is offered by the German website Ausschneide Bogen. 

The model can be downloaded in two different scales: 1/87 (H0 scale), which occupies six printed sheets, and 1/160 (N scale), two sheets, with internal cardboard reinforcement being recommended for the 1/87 scale model. 

Around 1894, while hiking on the Schönberg plateau, hiking friends Louis Laiblin, Eugen Nägele and Joseph Krauß came up with the idea of building an observation tower there. 

The paper manufacturer Laiblin made the construction possible with a generous donation and so the "Pfullinger Unterhose" was built between 1905 and 1906 according to plans by the architect Professor Theodor Fischer for 17,000 marks (equivalent to around 200,000 euros today) as first observation tower to be built in reinforced concrete in Germany. 

In 1926, the wooden shingles were replaced by a copper roof. In the spring of 1945, the French army damaged the roof of the upper tower with an air raid. Repairs took place in 1949 and renovation work took place in 1965 and 1982. 

The approximately 28 meter high tower can be reached via 108 steps and is constantly open. My thanks to my friend Jo Kizinger, from the USA, for this nice find.

O modelo pode ser baixado em duas escalas diferentes: 1/87 (escala H0), que ocupa seis folhas impressas e 1/160 (escala N), duas folhas, sendo recomendado um reforço interno de papelão no modelo em escala 1/87. 

Por volta de 1894, enquanto caminhavam no planalto de Schönberg, os amigos caminhantes Louis Laiblin, Eugen Nägele e Joseph Krauß tiveram a ideia de construir ali uma torre de observação.

Em 1926, as telhas de madeira foram substituídos por um telhado de cobre. Na primavera de 1945, o exército francês danificou o telhado da torre superior com um ataque aéreo. Os reparos ocorreram em 1949 e as obras de renovação ocorreram em 1965 e 1982.

The Carpet Barn Building Papercraft - by Papermau - Download Now!

I don't remember where these textures came from, but I've had them saved on my HD for a long time. 

As you can see, they are textures made from photos of a real building where a business called "Carpet Barn" operated. From the style of the building, it seems to be English. 

I decided to use the textures and created this small building that I hope can be useful for dioramas or wargames. 

I am also making the 3D model available that can be viewed with the free version of Sketchup. If you don't have Sketchup, I'll also leave the link to the free version download page.

Eu não me lembro de onde vieram estas texturas, mas eu as tenho salvas em meu HD há muito tempo. 

Como podem ver são texturas feitas a partir de fotos de um prédio real onde funcionava um comércio chamado "Carpet Barn". Pelo estilo do prédio, me parece ser inglês. 

Resolvi usar as texturas e criei este pequeno prédio que eu espero possa ser útil para dioramas ou wargames. 

Também estou disponibilizando o modelo em 3D que pode ser visualizado com a versão gratuíta do Sketchup. Se você não tem o Sketchup, também deixarei o link para a página de download da versão gratuíta.

Fallout - Broken Computer Console Paper Model - by Papermau Download Now!

I created this papercraft of a broken computer console using textures taken from the videogame Fallout. I believe it will be useful for people into Sci-Fi wargames and RPGs. 

If you do a quick search on Google or Pinterest, you will find many interesting textures from this videogame. 

I tried to play this game a while ago, episode 4, but there is so much to do in the game, so much information, that I kind of gave up. Maybe I'll try again sometime in the future. 

Fallout is an open-world role-playing video game series set in an alternate world where the culture of the 1950s United States of America has been combined with a dystopian vision of the future following a nuclear war. 

The series so far has six games that narrate different periods of the same story, the first (Fallout) was released in 1997 and the last (Fallout 76) in 2018. Developed by Interplay Entertainment and later by Bethesda Game Studios, the game takes place in an alternative world where a nuclear war has devastated the Earth. 

Players take on the role of survivors who explore the wreckage of civilization, interact with other survivors and factions, undertake missions, and fight mutated creatures and hostile adversaries. 

The series is known for its rich storytelling, impactful moral choices, and a vast, detailed world to explore. Throughout the games, players can customize their characters, developing skills and acquiring equipment to face the challenges of the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout. 

Fallout has a dedicated fan base around the world who are often called "Vault Dwellers", referencing the characters who live in the Vaults, the underground shelters that serve as a safe haven against the dangers of the game's post-apocalyptic world. This term is an affectionate way of identifying with the game's universe.

Eu criei este papercraft de um console de computador avariado usando texturas tiradas do videogame Fallout. Eu creio que será útil para o pessoal dos wargames e RPGs em estilo Sci-Fi. 

Se você fizer uma busca rápida no Google ou no Pinterest, vai achar muitas texturas interessantes deste videogame. 

Eu tentei jogar esse game há algum tempo atrás, o episódio 4, mas é tanta coisa para se fazer no game, tanta informação, que eu meio que desisti. 

Talvez eu tente novamente em algum momento no futuro. Fallout é uma série de videogames de RPG de mundo aberto que se passa em um mundo alternativo onde a cultura dos anos 50 dos Estados Unidos da América foi combinada com uma visão distópica do futuro após uma guerra nuclear.

A Multi Purpose Building Papercraft For Dioramas And Wargamesby Papermau - Download Now!

I was playing around in Sketchup and created this building that can be used in many ways. Depending on the configuration, you can make a small train station or a railway warehouse. 

You can also assemble more than one building and create a large train station or if you place them at a 90 degree angle, you can create a kind of industrial yard or a space for car events. 

I made the model on a single sheet, so you can imagine that it is quite small, but you can always change the template and increase or even decrease the scale even more.

In the final template I wrote some assembly tips, but I don't know if they will be readable when printed, so below I leave the same tips: 

"First assemble the BASE, then assemble the BUILDING. Glue the BUILDING to the BASE. Assemble the PILLARS and fix them to the BASE.

Glue the PILLAR ALIGNMENT BRACKET to the top of the pillars. Assemble the FRONT ROOF and use the PILLARS as a reference to align it with the BUILDING. 

RAMPS are optional. You can place them on the front sides or you can mount two, side by side, and place them at the back of the building, next to the large door."

Eu estava brincando no Sketchup e criei este prédio que pode ser usado de várias formas. Dependendo da configuração, você pode fazer uma pequena estação de trens ou um armazém ferroviário.

Você também pode montar mais de um prédio e cria uma grande estação de trens ou se colocá-los em ângulo de 90 graus, pode criar uma espécie de pátio industrial ou um espaço para eventos de carros.

Eu fiz o modelo em uma única folha, então pode-se imaginar que é bem pequeno, mas você sempre pode mexer no template e aumentar ou mesmo diminuir mais ainda a escala.

No template final eu escrevi algumas dicas de montagem, mas não sei se ficarão legíveis quando impressas, então abaixo deixo as mesmas dicas:

"Primeiro monte a BASE, depois monte o PRÉDIO. Cole o PRÉDIO na BASE. Monte os PILARES e fixe-os na BASE. 

Cole o SUPORTE DE ALINHAMENTO DOS PILARES na parte superior dos pilares. Monte o TELHADO FRONTAL e use os PILARES como referência para alinhá-lo com o PRÉDIO. 

As RAMPAS são opcionais. Você pode colocá-las nas laterais frontais ou pode montar duas, lado a lado, e colocá-las na parte traseira do prédio, junto a porta grande. "

Papercraft Buildings And Skycrapers In 1/265 Scale For Wargames And Dioramas - by R/Battletech

R/Battletech is a boardgame aficionado, more specifically BattleTech, and he is the author of these papercrafts of buildings and skyscrapers in 1/265 scale that can be used in scenarios for games of this type. 

On his profile at Reddit community he defines his priorities as "All things BattleTech, including the tabletop games, miniatures, fiction and video games". 

Regarding these papercrafts, he said: “Each section (of the buildings) can be printed individually so that the height is modular. There are two types of towers for the top. The one you see in the photos and the one with a spiral structure that houses one of the housing sections. This should become clearer when you look at the templates. 

I printed everything on standard office paper, but I think card stock (thicker) might be easier to work with. Pasting the pattern paper was a little tricky due to the octagonal shape. 

I hope you like these buildings. I will also upload some variants with murals. Please be aware that the paper size is A4, so you may need to resize before printing".

R/Battletech é um aficcionado de jogos de tabuleiro, mais especificamente em BattleTech, e ele é o autor destes papercrafts de prédios e arranha-céus na escala 1/265 que podem ser usados em cenários para jogos do tipo. 

Em seu perfil na comunidade Reddit ele define suas prioridades em "All things BattleTech, including the tabletop games, miniatures, fiction and video games". 

A respeito destes papercrafts, ele disse: "Cada seção (dos prédios) pode ser impressa individualmente para que a altura seja modular. Existem dois tipos de torres para o topo. Aquela que você vê nas fotos e aquela com estrutura em espiral que abriga uma das seções habitacionais. Isso deve ficar mais claro quando você olha os templates. 

Eu imprimí tudo em papel padrão, de escritório, mas acho que papel cartão (mais grosso) pode ser mais fácil de trabalhar. A colagem do papel padrão foi um pouco complicada devido ao formato octogonal. 

Espero que vocês gostem destes edifícios. Também carregarei algumas variantes com murais. Esteja ciente de que o tamanho do papel é A4 ,então talvez você precise redimensionar antes de imprimir".
