The Ephemeral Museum - Vecchio Bridge Vintage Paper Model Preserved And Shared by Esben Rasmussen - Assembled by Vincent

My friend Vincent, from Holland, sent me some pictures of a beautiful old paper model from Ponte Vecchio, preserved and kindly shared by model maker and collector Esben Rasmussen. 

About this particular model, Vincent said: "Hi Papermau Model makers, When searching through the web, I came upon a Flickr album with scans from an old Danish magazine, the “Illustreret Familie-Journal”. From the 1930’s I think. 

And in that magazine you find quite a lot of old paper models, and they are quite nice. And even better: the images are in high resolution. I decided to make the Vecchio Bridge (Ponte Vecchio) in Florence, Italy. 

It is just one sheet with pieces, and if you print it on A4-format, the model will be 16 cm long. There are no instructions with this model, but the pieces have letter codes indicating where they should be joined, and building it is rather straightforward. And the pictures will help you."

Meu amigo Vincent, da Holanda, enviou-me algumas fotos de um belo modelo de papel antigo da Ponte Vecchio, preservado e gentilmente compartilhado pelo modelista e colecionista Esben Rasmussen. 

Sobre este modelo em particular, Vincent disse: "Olá modelista do Papermau, Ao pesquisar na web, encontrei um álbum no Flickr com scans de uma antiga revista dinamarquesa, o “Illustreret Familie-Journal”. Da década de 1930 eu acho. 

E nessa revista você encontra muitos modelos antigos de papel, e eles são bem legais. E melhor ainda: as imagens estão em alta resolução. Resolvi montar a Ponte Vecchio (Ponte Vecchio) em Florença, Itália. 

É uma única folha com peças, e se você imprimir em formato A4, o modelo terá 16 cm de comprimento. Não há instruções com este modelo, mas as peças têm códigos de letras indicando onde devem ser unidas, e a construção é bastante simples. E as fotos vão te ajudar."

Fallout New Vegas - Scrap Metal Paper Model For Wargames And Dioramas - by TheDutchyGuy

This is a paper model of the Metal Scraps that can be seen throughout the Fallout New Vegas videogame. You collect them and use them to build weapons and armor to get stronger and be able to evolve in the game.

TheDutchyGuy is a designer and modeler from the Netherlands and an enthusiast of the Fallout videogames series. Below, a little about him, by himself: 

"I make Fallout Papercraft as a hobby, and I feel I should share them here, so others can download them as well. I'm a bit of an amateur, as I don't know how to make instructions etc. and I'm trying to find out how I can make the more complicated models easier (decrease the amount of faces). Easy-To-Build DAF XF Truck Paper Model With Special Paint by Bouwplaat Van Je Eigen Truck

Who better than a real truck driver to create paper models of trucks? Chris, from the Netherlands, is the creator of the Bouwplaat Van Je Eigen Truck website (Building Plate Of Yis Own Truck, literally) and of all the paper models of trucks you find there. They are very well made models and even so, very easy to assemble. 

About this model he said: - "To show what's possible, I made a build plate of a DAF XF in a specially painted version. 

The basic color of the model is black and it is embellished with a flame decoration. The model is also equipped with extra lighting in the grille and cabin. The lamps are original market lighting sets (TRUX X-light)."

Quem melhor que um verdadeiro motorista de caminhões para criar modelos de papel de caminhões? Chris, da Holanda, é o criador do site Bouwplaat Van Je Eigen Truck (Placa de construção do seu próprio caminhão, literalmente) e de todos os modelos de papel de caminhões que você encontra lá. São modelos muito bem feitos e mesmo assim, bem fáceis de montar. 

Sobre este modelo em particular, ele disse: - "Para mostrar o que é possível, fiz uma placa de construção de um DAF XF em versão com pintura especial. A cor básica do modelo é o preto e é embelezado com uma decoração de chamas. 

O modelo também é equipado com iluminação extra na grade e na cabine. As lâmpadas são conjuntos de iluminação originais do mercado (TRUX X-light)."

Easy-To-Build Volvo Delivery Truck Paper Model - by Dot By Dot

This easy-to-assemble paper model of a Volvo delivery truck was created by Dutch designer Sjoerd Kulsdom of Dot by Dot.

The entire model takes up only one printed sheet and is available in a color version and a black and white version, so children can paint however they want.

Although downloading in PDF format is not working, you can download the templates in both versions in JPG format by clicking on the images and saving them to your computer.

Este modelo de papel bem fácil de montar de um caminhão de entregas da Volvo foi criado pelo designer holandês Sjoerd Kulsdom, do site Dot by Dot.

O modelo todo ocupa apenas uma folha impressa e está disponível em versão colorida e versão preta e branca, para que as crianças pintem do jeito que quiserem.

Huis Sonsbeek - The White Villa Paper Model - by Dot By Dot

This miniature paper model by Huis Sonsbeek, or The White Villa, was created by Dutch designer Sjoerd Kulsdom, from Dot by Dot website.

Built in 1744 and also known as "The White Villa", Huis Sonsbeek is a monumental country house in Park Sonsbeek, in the Netherlands. It is located on a hill, so you have a nice view of the center of Arnhem.

The meadow around the village is a popular summer picnic spot and plays host to annual music and theater festivals.

Since 2008, on the lawn of the White Villa there is a statue known as Lazy King created by French artist Alain Séchaz. But in May 2012 vandals broke the statue's head and set it on fire.

As there was no possibility of restoration, a new statue was commissioned to Alain Séchaz. It was introduced in 2013 and has since rested placidly on the lawn at Sonsbeek Park.

Este modelo de papel em miniatura da Huis Sonsbeek, ou The White Villa, foi criado pelo designer holandês Sjoerd Kulsdom, do site Dot by Dot.

Construída em 1744 e também conhecida como "A Villa Branca", Huis Sonsbeek é uma casa de campo monumental em Park Sonsbeek, na Holanda.

Ela está localizada em uma colina, então você tem uma bela vista do centro de Arnhem. O prado ao redor da vila é um local popular para piquenique no verão e palco de festivais anuais de música e teatro.

Desde 2008, no gramado da White Villa há uma estátua conhecida como Lazy King, criada pelo artista francês Alain Séchaz. Mas em maio de 2012 vândalos quebraram a cabeça da estátua e a incendiaram.

Como não havia possibilidade de restauração, uma nova estátua foi encomendada a Alain Séchaz. Ela foi apresentada em 2013 e desde então repousa plácida no gramado do Parque Sonsbeek.
