I was looking online for information about Editociones Boga, the company responsible for publishing this papercraft of a miniature castle when, after searching a lot and finding almost no relevant information, I ended up coming across the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Government of Spain, where I learned that this model was published between 1961 and 1970, when the publisher launched a series on the market entitled "Construcciones Recortables Boga".
There I also learned a little about the history of papercraft in Spain by reading the text that I reproduce below:
"Cut-outs are toys made of sheets of paper or cardboard, with figures to be cut out and assembled, and with very varied themes: dolls, soldiers, buildings, theaters, and even religious themes.
Like practically all toys, they arrived in Spain from Europe, through France.
Its origin is in the plates with rows of soldiers that appear in Catalonia at the end of the 18th century.
But it was not until the middle of the 19th century that they became a children's entertainment and toy, reaching great development in the first half of the 20th century."
Eu procurava na internet informações sobre a Ediciones Boga, a companhia responsável pela publicação deste papercraft de um castelo em miniatura quando, depois de procurar bastante e não encontrar quase nenhuma informação relevante, acabei me deparando com o site oficial do Ministério da Cultura e do Esporte do Governo da Espanha, onde fiquei sabendo que este modelo foi publicado entre os anos de 1961 até 1970, data em qua a editora lançou no mercado uma série entitulada "Construcciones Recortables Boga".
Lá também fiquei sabendo um pouco sobre a história do papercraft na Espanha lendo o texto que abaixo reproduzo:
"Os recortáveis são brinquedos feitos de folhas de papel ou papelão, com figuras para serem recortadas e montadas, e com temáticas muito variadas: bonecos, soldados, prédios, teatros e até temas religiosos.
Como praticamente todos os brinquedos, chegaram à Espanha vindos da Europa, passando pela França.
A sua origem está nas placas com filas de soldados que aparecem na Catalunha no final do século XVIII.
Mas só em meados do século XIX é que se tornaram entretenimento e brinquedo infantil, atingindo grande desenvolvimento na primeira metade do século XX."
