Osteria - A French Vintage Paper Model - by Illustrated Famlie Journal
Preserved And Shared by Liisa

Osteria is a construction used as a guesthouse or restaurant, a place of meeting and quick stay, to spend the night and recover your energy before you travel. There are variations of osteria to the present day and even in Pompeii, the ancient city swallowed up and therefore preserved by the ashes of Vesuvius, examples of osterias are well preserved. This paper model was probably originally published between the late 19th and early 20th centuries by the french weekly Illustrated Famlie Journal and has been preserved and is now kindly shared by collector Liisa, who defines herself as a Craft Lover.

  1. A quick look at this model leads me to think you have the wrong attribution of publisher. The style of art work is clearly NOT Pellerin, this model appears to be from Illustrated Famlie Journal
