This very well done paper model version of the Light Tank Stuart M3A1 in 1/72 scale was created by Japamese designer Mr. Cube, from Lazy Life website. The Stuart light tanks were the first tanks taken into combat by US troops during WWII. Production of these vehicles can be broken into two categories: the early tanks powered by air-cooled radial engines, and late versions powered by twin V-8 engines. Widely used both by the US Army and US Marines, as well as many Allied nations, these tanks, though lightly armed and armored, were mechanically sound and did much to stem the tide of Axis aggression during the early stages of the US entry into WWII.
Esta versão em papel muito bem feita do Tanque Leve Stuart M3A1 na escala 1/72 foi criada pelo designer Japonês Mr. Cube, do site Lazy Life. Os tanques leves Stuart foram os primeiros tanques levados ao combate pelas tropas americanas durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. A produção desses veículos pode ser dividida em duas categorias: os primeiros tanques movidos por motores radiais refrigerados a ar e as versões posteriores alimentadas por motores V-8 gêmeos. Amplamente utilizados pelo exército e pelos fuzileiros navais dos EUA, bem como por muitas nações aliadas, esses tanques, embora levemente armados e blindados, eram mecanicamente robustos e foram de grande importância para conter a ofensiva do Eixo durante os estágios iniciais da entrada dos EUA na Segunda Guerra Mundial.
