Created by Canadian designer and modeler Gedelgo, this is the paper model version of the Winged Victory of Samothrace, also called Nike of Samothrace, a marble Hellenistic sculpture of Nike (the Greek goddess of victory), that was created about the 2nd century BC. Since 1884, it has been prominently displayed at the Louvre Museum, in France and is one of the most celebrated sculptures in the world. It is one of a small number of major Hellenistic statues surviving in the original, rather than Roman copies. - You will find the model in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the model with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D.
