Bus Goodview Men`s Club Paper Model - by YM Jr. Design

This little bus paper model, full of details, was created by Czech designer YM Jr., from YM Jr. Design website.

When I started my interest and research about paper models, this small bus enchanted me. I thought how could there be so many details in such a small paper object. 

If you look closely, you will see the passenger seats (there are eight in total), plus the driver's seat and the instrument panel with the steering. 

And all this in just two sheets of paper! An impressive paper work that one day I will build.

Este pequeno ônibus de papel, cheio de detalhes, foi criado pelo designer tcheco YM Jr, do site YM Jr. Designs. 

Quando eu comecei a me interessar e pesquisar sobre modelos de papel, este pequeno ônibus me encantou. Eu pensava como poderia haver tantos detalhes em um objeto de papel tão pequeno.

Se você observar bem, vais ver os bancos de passageiros (são oito no total) e mais o banco do motorista e o painel de instrumentos com a direção. 

E tudo isso em apenas duas folhas de papel! Um impressionante trabalho em papel que um dia ainda hei de montar.

Canadian designer Gedelgo, creator of this cool Alligator Head decorative paper model, says: - "It's an easy build though I spent more time on the teeth than the actual head. The teeth and eyes can be printed on a different color of cardstock. The final dimensions are 32cm long by about 16cm tall." - You will find the model in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the model with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D. If you don`t have Pepakura Viewer Free Version yet, the link to download is at the end of this post.

A designer canadense Gedelgo, criadora deste modelo de papel decorativo bem legal de uma Cabeça de Crocodilo, diz: - "É uma construção bem fácil, porém eu perdi mais tempo montando os dentes do que com todo o resto da cabeça. Os dentes e os olhos podem ser impressos em uma cor diferente de papel. As dimensões finais são 32 centímetros de comprimento por 16 centímetros de altura." - Você encontrará o modelo em dois formatos: PDF e PDO (Pepakura), então você pode usar o PDF para imprimir as peças e o PDO como guia de montagem, já que com ele você pode visualizar o modelo em 3D. I am playing with some textures in this model, using MsPaint. As the textures of the bricks from the game were very dark, I just delete everything and using lighter textures, I could give more life to the model.

Eu estou brincando com algumas texturas neste modelo, usando o MsPaint. Como a textura dos tijolos originais do jogo era muito escura, eu acabei apagando tudo e usando texturas mais claras, e assim consegui dar mais vida ao modelo.

Still using MSPaint, I decided to put several graffiti, to give a decadent urban atmosphere.

Ainda usando o MsPaint, resolvi colocar várias pixações/graffiti, para dar uma atmosfera urbana decadente.

The complete building occupied three sheets of paper and still left space for a few more elements, that surely further will enrich the model.

O prédio completo ocupou três folhas de papel e ainda sobrou espaço para mais alguns elementos, que com certeza enriquecerão ainda mais o modelo.

A Classic Maneki-Neko

This is an interesting paper model that you find only in the Japanese version of Canon website. Created by designer Ayumu Aaito, this is a Maneki-Neko, or Lucky Cat, and according to Japanese tradition, it is a common figurine (lucky charm, talisman) which is often believed to bring good luck to the owner. In modern times, they are usually made of ceramic or plastic. The figurine depicts a cat (traditionally a calico Japanese Bobtail) beckoning with an upright paw, and is usually displayed—often at the entrance—of shops, restaurants, pachinko parlors, and other businesses. Some of the sculptures are electric or battery-powered and have a slow-moving paw beckoning. The maneki-neko is sometimes also called the welcoming cat, lucky cat, money cat, happy cat, beckoning cat, or fortune cat in English. Maneki-neko come in different colors, styles and degrees of ornateness. Common colors are white, black, gold and sometimes red. In addition to ceramic figurines, maneki-neko can be found as keychains, piggy banks, air fresheners, house-plant pots, and miscellaneous ornaments, as well as large statues. Even though maneki-neko is a Japanese term and maneki-neko are Japanese figurines, they are sometimes incorrectly called the "Chinese lucky cat" and are increasingly popular among Chinese merchants. This pink Maneki-Neko, in particular, was created to attract luck in love.

Este é um modelo de papel bem interessante que você só encontra na versão japonesa do site da Canon. Criado pelo designer Ayumu Aaito, este é o Maneki Neko ou Gato da Sorte, e de acordo com a cultura japonesa, ele é conhecido como Gato da Sorte, Gato do Dinheiro ou da Boa Sorte é uma escultura asiática comum, na maior parte das vezes feita em cerâmica, que se crê trazer boa sorte ao seu dono. A escultura mostra um gato (tradicionalmente um Bobtail Japonês) a acenar com uma pata levantada, e é muitas vezes colocado em lojas, restaurantes, salas de Pachinko e de outros negócios, quase sempre à entrada. Algumas das figuras são elétricas, funcionam a pilhas ou são alimentados por energia solar, e efetuam um pequeno movimento de pata, como a acenar. No design das figuras, a pata direita levantada supostamente atrai dinheiro, enquanto uma pata esquerda levantada atrai clientes. Os Maneki-Neko pod3em ser de cores, estilos e graus de ornamentação diferentes. Além das figuras de porcelana, os Maneki-Neko podem ter a forma de chaveiros, cofrinhos, aromatizadores de ambiente e outros ornamentos variados. Algumas vezes são chamados erroneamente de Gatos Chineses da Sorte, por serem muito populares entre os comerciantes chineses. - Este Maneki-Neko cor de rosa, em especial, foi feito para atrair sorte no amor.

O filme teve duas sequências: Evil Dead II (1987) e Army of Darkness (1992). No filme, cinco jovens vão passar um fim de semana em uma cabana isolada nos bosques de Tennessee.
