Porter 1887 Locomotive - by The Wood Engraver - Locomotiva Antiga

Photobucket

PhotobucketThe H. K. Porter Company was one of this country's most well known locomotive manufacturers. It was the third largest producer, in terms of number of locomotives built, and was the leading producer of what Porter called 'Light Locomotives'. These were engines built specifically for industrial applications, mining, logging, plantations, or lightly built narrow gauge railroads. They helped to build the West, and are found in every country from Argentina to Zanzibar. - Wikipedia

Route 66 Abandoned Gas Station - Update - Almost Done

Now, some tires and a car, just the body, old and desmounted. Maybe next week it will be done. Next, the ground and more acessories, maybe some tools...

Algumas ferramentas, talvez...

Bugatti Type 32 Paper Car -by Patrick Pasques

Photobucket

Mr. Patrick Pasques, great French designer, made this very beautiful and detailed model of a Bugatti Type 32 and generously share it in his page.
The Bugatti Type 32, commonly called the Tank de Tours, was a streamlined racing car built in 1923. Four examples were made, each with a 2.0 L (1991 cc/121 in³) straight-8 engine based on that in the Type 30. "The Tank" finished third in the ACF Grand Prix that year. This was the first Bugatti to be fitted with roller-bearing big ends in order to improve the bottom-end reliability (Bugatti was rather later than most manufacturers in the incorporation of a fully pressurised oil system, preferring a splash "spit and hope" delivery method). The Type 32 also broke new ground (for a racing Bug) by using a three-speed and reverse transaxle unit, the exceptionally short wheelbase and long straight-8 engine making a conventional gearbox difficult to accommodate. It also heralded an embrionic hydraulic front brake actuation. - Wikipedia

- Wikipedia

Newport Pagnell Methodist Church - by Armada Models - Igreja Metodista

PhotobucketThe Methodist church in Newport Pagnell was built in 1815 - the same year that Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo. The building is described by the Newport Pagnell Historical Society as follows: Set back from the High Street, this church has typical chapel architecture of the period - strong and severe, but with a touch of elegance about the frontage. - Armada Models
