This vintage paper model of the Voiturette Automobile was originally published by J.F. Schreiber Publishing House, in 1915. It was preserved and now is shared by AGK (Arbeitskreis Geschichte des Kartonmodellbaus), a German club for the researching of the history of cardboard modeling.

The Ephemeral Museum - The Ancient Temple Of SacrificeAssembled by Aldo Ross

My friend Aldo Ross, from USA, built the Ancient Temple Of Sacrifice and kindly sent me some photos of the finished model. He also pointed me some minor corrections: the incorrect numbering of a base and an unnecessary tab on the sacrifice table platform (last image in this post).

Meu amigo Aldo Ross, dos EUA, montou o Antigo Templo do Sacrifício e gentilmente enviou-me algumas fotos de seu belo trabalho. Ele também apontou-me algumas pequenas correções: anumeração incorreta de uma base e uma aba desnecessária na plataforma da mesa de sacrifícios (última imagem deste post).

Half Life - Gordon Freeman Paper Toy In Minecraft Style - by Chippy

Half Life is one of the best first person shooter videogames I ever played and although nowadays it can be outdated, in 1998, when it was released, innovated with a very well done storyline and its continuation released in 2004 , inovated again with its realistic physics effects. 

For those who do not know, Counter Strike is a multplayer derivation of this game. 

This paper toy of Morgan Freeman, main character of this great videogames series, in Minecraft style, was created by designer and modeler Chippy, from Pixel Papercraft website.

Half Life é um dos melhores games shooter de primeira pessoa que eu já joguei e, embora hoje em dia esteja ultrapassado, em 1998, quando foi lançado, inovou com um enredo muito bem feito e sua continuação de 2004 foi além, com seus realísticos efeitos de física. 

Para quem não sabe, o Counter Strike é uma derivação multplayer deste jogo. 

Este paper toy do Gordon Freeman, principal personagem desta grande série de games, em estilo Minecraft, foi criado pelo designer e modelista Chippy, do site Pixel Papercraft.

What A Shame! Photobucket Strikes Again With All Its Incompetence!Photobucket Ataca Novamente Com Toda Sua Incompetência!

Photobucket, the service I use (and paid for) to host the blog pictures, is in maintenance, and there is no predicting when it will again function normally. Meanwhile, Papermau is no display of 99% of its images, which is very bad. When I walk into my account on Photobucket, besides the friendly image above, I have the following message:

_ "Hang In There! We're down for maintenance, but we'll be back shortly."

So, I say sorry for all friends of the blog and let's hope the Photobucket staff do their duty and fix this crap...

Photobucket, o serviço que eu uso (e pago) para hospedar as imagens do blog, está em manutenção, e não há previsão de quando eles vão normalizar o serviço. Enquanto isso, Papermau não exibe 99% de suas imagens, o que é muito ruim. Quando entro em minha conta no Photobucket, além da simpática imagem acima, leio a seguinte mensagem:

_ "Aguenta firme! Nós estamos em manutenção, mas voltaremos em breve."

Então, só me resta pedir desculpas a todos os amigos do blog e esperar que a equipe do Photobucket faça sua obrigação e conserte esta porcaria ...

The German House - A French Vintage Paper Model - by PellerinPreserved and Shared by AGK

This beautiful and rare vintage paper model of a German House was originally printed in the early twentieth century by French publisher Pellerin. 

It was preserved and is now shared by AGK (Arbeitskreis Geschichte des Kartonmodellbaus), a German club for the researching of the history of cardboard modeling. 

I made a "cleaned" version of this model, so you can choose between the original version or the restored version, with more bright colors.

Este belo e raro modelo de papel antigo de uma Casa Alemã foi originalmente impresso no início do século XX pela editora francesa Pellerin. 

Ele foi preservado e agora é compartilhado pela AGK (Arbeitskreis Geschichte des Kartonmodellbaus), um clube alemão de pesquisa da historia do papelmodelismo. 

Eu fiz uma versão "limpa" deste model, assim você pode escolher entre o original ou uma versão restaurada, com cores mais brilhantes.

This beautiful paper model depicting the St. Julien Church Of Menetriers as it was during the World Expo 1900 which took place in France, was originally published by French company Pellerin. Thanks to the collector and modeler Albert Robida, who is also the author of the photos that illustrate this post, and preserved and shares this model, now you can also build your own St. Julien Church Of Menetriers diorama.

Este belíssimo modelo de papel retratando a Igreja de St. Julien de Menetriers tal qual ela era durante a Exposição Mundial de 1900 que ocorreu na França, foi originalmente publicado pela companhia francesa Pellerin. Graças ao colecionador e modelista Albert Robida, que também é o autor das fotos que ilustram esta postagem, e que preservou e compartilha este modelo, agora você também pode montar seu próprio diorama da Igreja de St. Julien de Menetriers.
