This is the WW2`s Type 5 Heavy Tank, here in a very detailed paper model version in 1/50 scale, offered by World of Tanks, Russian website. The Type 5 Heavy is a Japanese tier 10 heavy tank. The Type 5, also known as Type 2605, was one of the variants of the O-I superheavy tank, developed during WWII. The vehicle was planned to be used for breaking through fortified enemy lines and for coastal defense. The Type 5 Heavy marks the end of its Japanese heavy line.

My friend Aldo Ross, from USA, built the Greek-Roman Ruins and kindly sent me some photos of his nice work. He said: - "Here are some pictures of my build of the Roman Ruins. I printed it at 40% original size... I added some extra trim along the back of the base to cover the bare white paper where the backdrop photo would normally attach. It is a fun kit, and everyone really likes it, especially the marble texture... This also includes my first attempt at “water”, made from a combination of transparent tape, clear gloss varnish, and clear epoxy media." - "Thanks, Aldo, for the really nice work, the kind words and the photos. It is gratifying to see this model assembled with such care and, moreover in such a tiny scale! I'm very honored and pleased!
