Inca Mythology - Viracocha Mask Paper Model - by Atlas Digital & Cubotoy

Occupying only three printed sheets, this very original decorative paper model of a Viracocha Mask was created by designers Atlas Digital and Cubotoy for Canon Japan website.

Viracocha is the great creator deity in the pre-Inca and Inca mythology in the Andes region of South America. Full name and some spelling alternatives are Wiracocha, Apu Qun Tiqsi Wiraqutra, and Con-Tici (also spelled Kon-Tiki, the source of the name of Thor Heyerdahl's raft). Viracocha was one of the most important deities in the Inca pantheon and seen as the creator of all things, or the substance from which all things are created, and intimately associated with the sea. Viracocha created the universe, sun, moon, and stars, time (by commanding the sun to move over the sky) and civilization itself. Viracocha was worshipped as god of the sun and of storms. He was represented as wearing the sun for a crown, with thunderbolts in his hands, and tears descending from his eyes as rain.

Viracocha é a grande divindade criadora da mitologia pré-Inca e Inca na região dos Andes da América do Sul. O nome completo e algumas alternativas de ortografia são Wiracocha, Apu Qun Tiqsi Wiraqutra e Con-Tici (também escrito Kon-Tiki, a fonte do nome da balsa de Thor Heyerdahl). Viracocha era uma das divindades mais importantes do panteão Inca e é visto como o criador de todas as coisas, ou a substância da qual todas as coisas são criadas e intimamente associado ao mar. Viracocha criou o universo, o sol, a lua e as estrelas, o tempo (ordenando que o sol se movesse sobre o céu) e a própria civilização. Viracocha era adorado como deus do sol e das tempestades. This is the third version of Getter Robot in a detailed and articulated paper model version created by Japanese designer and modeler Shunichi Makino, from Sc-Fi Papercraft website. 

Getter Robo, typically romanized as Getter Robot in various mangás, is a Super Robot mangá series created by Ken Ishikawa and Go Nagai, as well as an anime series produced by Toei Animation. The series was broadcast on Fuji TV from April 4, 1974 to May 8, 1975, with a total of 51 episodes. The manga was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from April 7, 1974 to August 24, 1975.

Este é a terceira versão do Getter Robot em uma versão de papel detalhada e articulada criada pelo designer e modelista japonês Shunichi Makino, do site Sc-Fi Papercraft. 

Getter Robo, tipicamente romanizado como Getter Robot em diversos mangás, é uma série de mangás de Super Robôs criada por Ken Ishikawa e Go Nagai, e também como um anime série produzida pela Toei Animation. A série foi transmitido pela TV Fuji entre 04 de abril de 1974 e 8 de Maio de 1975, com um total de 51 episódios.

I believe I've posted two tutorials here on the blog about ships in bottles, but this is the more detailed and the most closely than the ancient sailors did during their long and uncertain trips in the Golden Age of Sail, as a way to pass time and not thinking too much on risks that they ran. 

This very well done tutorial, full of photos was created by a South African guy called Awesomecreations and was originally posted at Instructables website. Even if you never think of building a ship in a bottle, it's worth taking a look at the ingenious techniques used.

Eu creio que já postei dois tutoriais aqui no blog sobre barcos em garrafas, mas este é mais detalhado e o que mais se aproxima do que os antigos marinheiros faziam durante suas longas e incertas viagens na Era de Ouro das Navegações, como uma forma de passar o tempo e não pensarem muito nos riscos que corriam. 

Este tutorial super detalhado e repleto de fotos foi criado por um sul-africano auto-intitulado Awesomecreations e foi originalmente postado no site Instructables. Mesmo que você nunca pense em construir um barco em uma garrafa, vale a pena dar uma olhada nas engenhosas técnicas usadas.
