This is getting interesting. A lot of ideas and possibilities with this model. The tram is practically finished.
I finished the interior textures and added the advertising signs above the windows, the exit signs and the emergency panels.
I also placed the side lamps and ventilation boxes on the ceiling. Another addition were the yellow supports that serve as support for passengers who may travel standing up. There must be a proper name for them, but I don't really know.
In the original 1998 Half Life, the tram was lifted by an inverted V-shaped support. This support, in turn, ran through internal pulleys in a single beam, that is, in a monorail system.
I looked for images on Google, but oddly enough, there are very few images of this tram on the internet. In one of the few images I found, it looks like this version of the tram could also run on an inferior monorail, but the image isn't very clear and I'm not sure about that.
So I decided to use the system you see in the images in this post, where the tram also runs along a monorail, but the supports seem to use some kind of "magnetic coupling", as appears on the Half Life Black Mesa.
I don't know if four supports on each side add value or make the model less aesthetically pleasing.
While playing with the model in Sketchup, ideas came and went in my mind and I created the entire scenario you see.
I don't want to keep inventing too much, otherwise what will happen is the model will become unviable for papercraft, as has happened with many other models that I ended up abandoning. Well, that's it for now.

Isso está ficando interessante. Um monte de idéias e possibilidades com este modelo. O bonde já está praticamente finalizado.
Eu terminei as texturas internas e adicionei as placas de propaganda acima da sjanelas, os letreiros de saída e os painéis de emergência.
Também coloquei as luminárias laterais e as caixas de ventilação no teto. Outra adição foram os suportes amarelos que servem de apoio para os passageiros que porventura viajam de pé. Deve haver um nome próprio para eles, mas eu realmente não sei.
No Half Life original de 1998, o bonde era içado por um suporte em formato de V invertido. Esse suporte, por sua vez, corria por meio de polias internas em uma única viga, ou seja, em um sistema monotrilho.
Procurei imagens no Google, mas por incrível que pareça, há pouquíssimas imagens desse bonde na rede. Em uma das poucas imagens que encontrei, parece que essa versão do bonde também podia correr sobre um monotrilho inferior, mas a imagem não é muito nítida e eu não tenho certeza disso.
Resolvi então usar o sistema que você vê nas imagens deste post, onde o bonde corre também por um monotrilho, mas os suportes parecem usar algum tipo de "engate magnético", como aparece no Half Life Black Mesa.
Não sei se quatro suportes de cada lado valorizam ou deixam o modelo menos agradável esteticamente. Enquanto brincava com o modelo no Sketchup, as idéias iam e vinham na minha mente e eu fui criando todo o cenário que você vê.
Eu não quero ficar inventando muito, senão o que vai acontecer é o modelo se tornar inviável para um papercraft, como já aconteceu com muitos outros modelos que acabei abandonando. Bem, por enquanto é isso.
