In the photos below you can see the assembly sequence of the Ancient Greek Temple posted for download here on the blog yesterday.

Unfortunately the photos are from 2012 and are in low resolution, but I believe they will be useful for those who venture into assembling this model.

WAKM 920 AM Radio Station Paper Model - by Papermau Download Saturday!

This papercraft was freely isnpired by a radio station present in the 3D train simulator "Railroad Tycoon 3".

I say "freely inspired" because I only had the textures of the model, but not an image of the assembled building, so I had to use my imagination to try and figure out where each piece should go.

Este papercraft foi livremente inspirado em uma estação de rádio presente no simulador de trem 3D "Railroad Tycoon 3". 

Eu digo "livremente inspirado" porque eu só tinha as texturas do modelo, mas não uma imagem do prédio montado, então tive que usar a imaginação para tentar descobrir aonde deveria ir cada peça.

The Ancient Greek Temple - A 2012 Papermau Original ModelRevised Version - Download Now!

This paper model of an Ancient Greek Temple was published here on the blog in March 2012. Then, with the massive virus attack that the blog suffered in 2019, almost two thousand posts had to be deleted and recreated from scratch. 

In the process, I lost the templates for this temple that were hosted on the once-reliable Rapidshare (in fact, I lost many of the original templates at that time).

But last week, looking through old CDs and pendrives, I ended up finding a folder with the original templates for this model. In addition to the templates, I also found several photos with the temple assembly. 

Today I leave the templates for anyone who wants to download. I revised the sheets and added some texts indicating where each piece goes and some tips for better finishing. 

The Greek Temple was entirely made in MsPaint and is very easy to assemble, with just a few pieces, suitable for school work or wargames. 

Some blog friends said that this temple is Roman. Others said it is Greek. Well, I'm not a historian and I'm not a precious scientist, so I believe this model can be classified as Greek-Roman. 

I combined everything into a single PDF, thus eliminating the possibility of printing the sheets at different scales. Tomorrow I'll post photos of the assembly.

Este modelo de papel de um Antigo Templo Grego foi publicado aqui no blog em março de 2012. Depois, com o ataque maciço de vírus que o blog sofreu em 2019, quase duas mil postagens tiveram que ser apagadas e recriadas do zero. 

Nesse processo, eu perdi os templates deste templo que estavam hospedados no no outrora confiável Rapidshare (na verdade, perdi muitos modelos originais nessa época). 

Mas na última semana, vasculhando velhos Cds e pendrives, acabei encontrando uma pasta com os templates originais desse modelo. Além dos templates, também achei várias fotos com a montagem do templo. 

Hoje deixo os templates para quem quiser baixar. Revisei as folhas e adicionei alguns textos indicando onde vai cada peça e algumas dicas para melhor acabamento. 

O Templo Grego foi todo feito no MsPaint e é bem fácil de montar, com poucas peças, próprio para trabalhos escolares ou para wargames. 

Alguns amigos do blog disseram que este templo é romano. Outros disseram que é grego. Bem, eu não sou historiador e não sou preciosista, então creio que esse modelo pode ser classificado como grego-romano. 

Juntei tudo em um único PDF, assim fica eliminada a possibilidade de imprimir as folhas em escalas diferentes. Amanhã posto as fotos da montagem.

Occupying fourteen printed sheets and with detailed instructions, this paper model of St. Peter's Basilica was created by Japanese designer M. Yukishita exclusively for Canon website.

St. Peter's Basilica is one of the most important and iconic churches in the world. It is the center of the Catholic Church and a landmark of Christianity that attracts millions of pilgrims and tourists every year. 

It is located in the city of Rome, Italy, is one of the city's most famous attractions, and is situated within the small independent enclave of the Vatican City, which is in the heart of Rome and serves as the headquarters of the Catholic Church. So, while the Basilica is geographically located in Rome, it is also an integral part of the Vatican City. 

The construction of St. Peter's Basilica began in 1506 and took over 100 years to complete. Several famous architects, including Michelangelo and Gian Lorenzo Bernini, contributed to its design and construction. 

The basilica's dome, designed by Michelangelo, is one of the largest in the world and has become an icon of Renaissance architecture. It offers a spectacular view of the city of Rome from its top, accessible to brave visitors who climb hundreds of steps. 

Below St. Peter's Basilica, there is an ancient necropolis dating back to Roman times. It is a site of great historical significance as it is believed to be the burial place of St. Peter himself, one of Jesus' apostles and the first pope of the Catholic Church.

Ocupando quatorze folhas impressas e com instruções detalhadas, este modelo de papel da Basílica de São Pedro foi criado pelo designer japonês M. Yukishita exclusivamente para o site da Canon. 

A Basílica de São Pedro é uma das igrejas mais importantes e emblemáticas do mundo. Ela é o centro da Igreja Católica e um marco do cristianismo que atrai milhões de peregrinos e turistas todos os anos. 

Ela está localizada na cidade de Roma, na Itália, é uma das atrações mais famosas da cidade e está situada dentro do pequeno Estado do Vaticano, que é um enclave independente no coração de Roma e é a sede da Igreja Católica. Então, embora a Basílica esteja geograficamente localizada em Roma, ela também é uma parte integral do Estado do Vaticano.

In the process, I lost the templates for this model that were hosted on the once-reliable Rapidshare (in fact, I lost many of the original templates at that time).

Now I'm going to review everything and switch to a single PDF, since the originals were divided into four sheets in JPG format. 

Next Wednesday I will publish the Ancient Greek Temple, ok? Good week everyone!
