Army Container Ops Paper Model For Dioramas, RPG And Wargames by Papermau - Download Now!

This is the paper model of a military container that I named "Army Container Operations". This name I got from a quick Google search. 

There is a lot of literature on this topic on the internet, I even found a manual with that exact name being sold on Amazon. 

The whole model takes up only one sheet of paper and I think it's useful for dioramas and wargames or for kids to play with their classic green plastic soldiers. I hope there are still kids out there who play with something that doesn't need a joystick and a high definition screen.

Este é o modelo de papel de um container militar que eu batizei de "Operações de Contêiner do Exército". Esse nome eu tirei de uma busca rápida no Google. 

Há muita literatura sobre esse tema na internet, inclusive eu achei um manual com esse exato nome sendo vendido na Amazon. 

O modelo todo ocupa apenas uma folha de papel e eu creio que seja útil para dioramas e wargames ou para as crianças brincarem com seus clássicos soldadinhos de plástico verdes. Eu espero que ainda existam crianças que brinquem com algo que não precisa de um um joystick e uma tela de alta definição.

This beautiful paper model of a Medieval Fortress was created for a contest on Arc Games website to promote the RPG game Neverwinter. 

The contest has ended a long time ago (2015) but the model is still available there for download.

Rare Animals Of The World - African Elephant Paper Model by Yamaha

The Japanese motor vehicles manufacturer Yamaha had a website that was well known and admired by paper modelers from all over the world. 

The detailed miniatures of his most iconic motorcycles have made many modelers happy and there are several threads in forums in several languages showing the models assembled by fans of all ages and nationalities. 

Sadly, in 2018, Yamaha Motors announced the closure of its papercraft website. And it was like that until the end of 2019, when with the advent of the pandemic, Yamaha decided to publish again some of its famous paper models, to help people get distracted during the forced lockdowns. 

The paper models of the motorcycles have not returned, to everyone's sadness, but we have available some animals from the also classic series "Rare Animals of the World". 

Today I present here in this post the African Elephant, an easy to assemble model that takes up two sheets of paper and one more for the stand and is available in a colored and a white version, for children to color however they want. 

If you are interested, I advise you to download this model soon, because with the end of the pandemic, we do not know if Yamaha will continue to share this model.

A fabricante japonesa de veículos automotores Yamaha tinha um website muito conhecido e admirado por papel modelistas de todo o mundo. 

As detalhadíssimas miniaturas de suas mais icônicas motocicletas fizeram a alegria de muitos modelistas e há várias threads em foruns em várias línguas mostrando os modelos montados por fãs de todas as idades e nacionalidades. 

Infelizmente, em 2018, Yamaha Motors anunciou o fechamento de seu site de papercrafts. E foi assim até o final de 2019, quando com o advento da pandemia, a Yamaha resolveu publicar novamente alguns de seus famosos modelos de papel, para ajudar as pessoas a se distrairem durante os lockdowns forçados. 

Os modelos de papel das motos não voltaram, para tristeza de todos, mas temos disponíveis alguns animais da também clássica série "Animais Raros do Mundo". 

Hoje apresento aqui neste post o Elefante Africano, um modelo fácil de montar que ocupa duas folhas de papel e mais uma para o stand e que está disponível em uma versão colorida e outra em branco, para as crianças colorirem do jeito que quiserem. 

Se você se interessou, eu aconselho que baixe logo este modelo, pois com o fim da pandemia, não sabemos se a Yamaha continuará compartilhando este modelo.

Some friends of the blog ask about how I create my models. I have three ways to create paper models: drawing by hand, straight on paper, using ruler and pens; drawing directly in MsPaint, also using a ruler, but then I put the ruler directly on the monitor, a very crude way of making exact measurements. 

In MsPaint I can also add textures taken from photos, simply using the native copy and paste tools. The third way to draw papercrafts, and one of the easiest and most fun, is using Sketchup (to draw) together with Pepakura (to unfold the models). 

In the video below, you will see the development of a toy car in a very simple way. In the next video I will "unfold" the model using Pepakura and you will understand better how the process works. The video is 17 minutes long, but you can double or triple the speed because, after all, who has time to waste these days, right? Good week to everyone!

Alguns amigos do blog perguntam sobre como eu crio meus modelos. Eu tenho três modo sde criar modelos de papel: desenhando à mão, direto no papel, usando régua e canetas; desenhando direto no MsPaint, também usando régua, mas aí eu encosto a régua direto no monitor, uma forma bem tosca de fazer medidas exatas. 

No MsPaint eu também consigo adicionar texturas tiradas de fotos, simplesmente usando as ferramentas nativas de copiar e colar. A terceira maneira de desenhar papercrafts, e uma das mais fáceis e divertidas, é usando o Sketchup (para desenhar) em conjunto com o Pepakura (para desdobrar os modelo). 

No video acima, vocês verão o desenvolvimento de um carro de brinquedo de formas bem simples. No próximo video eu "desdobrarei" o modelo usando o Pepakura e vocês entenderão melhor como funciona o processo. O video tem 17 minutos, mas vocês podem duplicar ou triplicar a velocidade porque, afinal de contas, quem tem tempo a perder hoje em dia, não é mesmo? Boa semana a todos!
