Build Your Own Railway Network Papercraft - by West Japan Railway

Offered by the official website of the West Japan Railway Company here are some free papercrafts for you to assemble a complete railway network. 

You will find many model trains (from all eras), from a bullet train, the Shinkansen W7 series train, tracks and a generic station to railway crossings, cast iron bridges, a fan-shaped rotary station and even even buildings inspired by real stations, such as the Kyoto station building and the very modern Osaka station. 

In this post I highlight the Shinkansen W7 series train, a high-speed bullet train model operated by Japan Railways (JR) West in Japan. 

The W7 features an aerodynamic design that makes it more energy efficient and stable at high speeds. 

It provides passenger comfort with ergonomic seats and in-flight entertainment features, as well as being equipped with cutting-edge technology for safety and efficiency. 

The W7 operates primarily on the Hokuriku Shinkansen line, connecting Tokyo to the Hokuriku region, offering fast and efficient travel between the two areas.

Easy-To-Build Firetruck Papercraft For Kids - by Tokyo Fire Department

Offered by the official website of the Tokyo Fire Department, this very easy-to-assemble papercraft of a fire truck takes up just one printed sheet. 

I said it's easy to assemble but there are no instructions. At first glance I was a little confused about where each piece would fit, so I decided to assemble it in 3D, using Sketchup.

You can see the result in the images that illustrate this post and I hope they help those interested in building their own fire truck. 

Please do not download the template in the last image of this post, as it is a low resolution image for illustrative purposes only. 

Visit the official Tokyo Fire Department website to download the high-resolution tmeplate in PDF format. 

There you will also find another fire truck, an ambulance and a motorcycle, all in the same easy-to-assemble style, suitable for children.

Eu disse que ele é fácil de montar mas não há instruções. À primeira vista eu fiquei um pouco confuso sobre aonde cada peça se encaixaria, então resolvi montá-lo em 3D, usando o Sketchup. 

O resultado você pode ver nas imagens que ilustram este post e eu espero que ajudem aqueles que se interessarem em montar seu próprio caminhão de bombeiros.

I'm not sure if I found this website in the great thread "Web Page with Collection of Paper Model Sites" created by my friend John Wagenseil, from Paper Modelers forum, but even if it wasn't there, it's always good to remember that this thread is amazing and full of rare papercrafts, which are really hard to find. 

I'll leave the link to John's thread at the end of this post along with the link to Sega's papercrafts.

Subaru Impreza WRC 2008 Concept Paper Model - by MKJ

Created by Japanese designer MJK and originally published on the official Pepakura Gallery community website, this is the papercraft version of the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRC, a competition version of Subaru's popular rally car. 

It was built to compete in the 2008 World Rally Championship (WRC). It featured a 2.0-liter boxer engine and all-wheel drive, typical characteristics of Subaru rally cars. 

In the 2008 World Rally Championship (WRC) season, the Subaru Impreza WRC 2008 did not win any titles in the constructors' championship. 

The Subaru World Rally Team faced difficulties throughout the season, and although they achieved some good positions in individual events, they were unable to secure consistent wins to challenge for the constructors' title. 

The Impreza WRC 2008 continued Subaru's successful tradition in rallying, following in the footsteps of previous legendary Impreza models that had won multiple world rally championships. 

It featured several technical innovations, including an advanced all-wheel-drive system and improved aerodynamics, providing better stability and control on various terrains. 

The car was driven by some of the best rally drivers of the time, including Petter Solberg, Chris Atkinson, and Xavier Pons, contributing to the reputation of the Impreza WRC 2008 as a formidable competitor in the global rally scene.

Sahara Truck Paper Toy For Kids - by Papermau - Download Now!

This papercraft of a rally truck, the Sahara Truck, was created in Sketchup, from the design to the colors. 

The file was then "unfolded" in Pepakura and then small corrections and finishing touches were made in MsPaint. 

The result is a paper model that only takes up one printed sheet and is very easy to assemble. 

The download, as always, is easy and safe, directly from Google Drive. Have a good weekend to everyone.

O arquivo foi então "desdobrado" no Pepakura e depois pequenas correções e acabamentos foram feitos no MsPaint. 

O resultado é um modelo de papel que ocupa apenas uma folha impressa e é bem fácil de montar.
