Appaman Foldable Monkey Mascot Paper Toy - by Paper Foldables

Appaman is a children's clothing brand based in New York. You may know that Appaman, Inc. was inspired by and named after the childhood companion of our founder, Harald Husum. When Harald was a kid growing up in Norway, he had a stuffed corduroy monkey named Appaman (“monkey man” in Norwegian) who accompanied him on many fantastic adventures through the fields and fjords. The original Appaman now lives at Appaman HQ in NYC, and while he doesn’t go on as many adventures as he used to, he continues to inspire us, reminding us of the spirit of adventure and imagination of those youthful times.

Appaman é uma marca de roupas infanto-juvenís sediada em Nova Iorque. Você pode não saber que o nome Appaman foi inspirado no companheiro de infância do fundador da empresa, Harald Husum. Lindesnes Lighthouse In Norway Paper Model - by Bildrum

This is a model of the Lindesnes lighthouse on the southern cape of the Norwegian main land. The Lindesnes lighthouse site is now a living museum and culture center with around 80.000 visitors every year.

The first official lighthouse on the Norwegian coast was installed here in 1656 but was soon closed. A new light service was started in 1725 and improved from time to time. A coal fire in glass lantern was erected in 1822.

The coal fire was in 1854 changed for a lens apparatus, which in 1915 was moved to the newly built and still working cast iron tower.

The Lindesnes lighthouse museum was founded in 1992 and the lighthouse site listed as a monument in 1993. The lighthouse was officially automated in 2003, but as an official help to the museum, the Norwegian Coast Office still pays for two light house keepers as parts of the museums staff. - Bildrum

Este é um modelo do Farol Lindesnes, que fica no cabo sul da principal ilha da Noruega. O farol Lindesnes agora é um museu a céu aberto e também um centro cultural e recebe mais de 80.000 visitantes por ano. 

O primeiro farol oficial da Noruega foi instalado nesta ilha em 1656, mas logo deixou de funcionar. Um novo farol foi feito em 1725 e aperfeiçoado de tempos em tempos.

Um farol de carvão com lentes de vidro foi erigido em 1822. Este farol foi substituído em 1854 por por um mais moderno, que em 1915 foi mudado de sua base de pedra para uma outra base, essa feita de aço, que continua funcionando até os dias atuais.

O museu do farol foi fundado em 1992 e o farol foi listado como monumento nacional em 1993.

The Norwegian Forest Cat is a breed of cat native to northern Europe, especially common in Norway and other parts of Scandinavia. It is said to have an extremely long history, even appearing in some Norse legends. At one stage, Norwegian Forest Cat numbers declined almost to the point of extinction, but the breed recovered and they are currently popular pets around the world. Their two-layered coat helps them survive the cold Scandinavian winters. They are also known for their long, fluffy tails and straight, long nose bridges. Norwegian Forest Cats have calm, patient, intelligent and loving temperaments. They love to play, and are good at climbing trees. Norueguês da Floresta é uma raça de gatos de aspecto selvagem oriunda da Noruega. A necessidade de se abrigar durante os invernos frios da Escandinávia transformou seu manto num cobertor macio, protegendo-o do vento e da neve. 1 Além disso, o manto mantém o calor, secando após cerca de quinze minutos. Para proteger-se do frio este gato também se serve do abundante “colarinho”.
O Norueguês da Floresta requer escovação ocasional, pois, apesar de compridos, os pêlos dificilmente se embaraçam. Como todos os outros gatos, ele passa por uma mudança de pêlos uma vez ao ano. As necessidades de sobrevivência também tornaram o Norueguês da Floresta um gato cauteloso, inteligente e grande caçador. A personalidade desta raça apresenta traços de afetuosidade e independência. Esta raça adora grandes espaços. Uma característica curiosa deste felino é descer das árvores em espiral, de cabeça para baixo. A maior população da raça encontra-se na Suiça. - Wikipedia
