Easy-To-Build Firetruck Papercraft For Kids - by Tokyo Fire Department

Offered by the official website of the Tokyo Fire Department, this very easy-to-assemble papercraft of a fire truck takes up just one printed sheet. 

I said it's easy to assemble but there are no instructions. At first glance I was a little confused about where each piece would fit, so I decided to assemble it in 3D, using Sketchup.

You can see the result in the images that illustrate this post and I hope they help those interested in building their own fire truck. 

Please do not download the template in the last image of this post, as it is a low resolution image for illustrative purposes only.

There you will also find another fire truck, an ambulance and a motorcycle, all in the same easy-to-assemble style, suitable for children.

Eu disse que ele é fácil de montar mas não há instruções. À primeira vista eu fiquei um pouco confuso sobre aonde cada peça se encaixaria, então resolvi montá-lo em 3D, usando o Sketchup.

You will find everything from miniatures of the iconic Sega consoles that helped revolutionize the world of video games to masks, decorative objects, the famous Crazy Taxi taxi and much more. 

I'm not sure if I found this website in the great thread "Web Page with Collection of Paper Model Sites" created by my friend John Wagenseil, from Paper Modelers forum, but even if it wasn't there, it's always good to remember that this thread is amazing and full of rare papercrafts, which are really hard to find. 

I'll leave the link to John's thread at the end of this post along with the link to Sega's papercrafts.

Male Cheetah Miniature Paper Model - by Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart

Occupying two sheets of paper this miniature paper model of a male Cheetah was created by Japanese designer Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart, commissioned by the Canon website. 

This paper model is part of the Real Animals Series, and on the website, it is stated that it represents a male Cheetah running, implying that there might be a female version and perhaps a cub version in different poses. 

If you are using this papercraft for a school project, here are some basic information and some interesting facts that may be useful to you: 

The Cheetah, also known as the cheetah, is one of the fastest felines in the world and has distinct physical characteristics that make it a highly efficient hunter. 

The Cheetah is an elegant feline, characterized by its yellowish coat with black spots, a small head with distinctive black eyes, and long, slender legs adapted for speed. 

It is the fastest animal on land, capable of reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h in short bursts, allowing it to hunt agile prey such as gazelles. 

The Cheetah has exceptional vision, vital for identifying prey at long distances while hunting in open terrain. Its oval pupils allow for an improved panoramic vision. 

Despite its impressive speed, Cheetahs are vulnerable in food competitions and often lose their prey to stronger predators such as lions and hyenas. 

This forces them to consume their prey quickly before it can be stolen. Thanks to my friend Jo Kizinger, from USA, for this nice find.

Ocupando duas folhas de papel, este Guepardo, ou Chita Macho em miniatura foi criado pelo designer japonês Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart, comissionado pelo site da Canon. 

Este modelo de papel faz parte da Série Animais Reais e no site é dito que ele representa um Guepardo macho correndo, dando a entender que virá uma versão fêmea e talvez uma versão filhote em diferentes poses. 

Se você for usar este papercraft em um trabalho escolar, seguem abaixo algumas informações básicas e algumas curiosidades que podem lhe ser úteis: 

O Guepardo, também conhecido como chita, é um dos felinos mais rápidos do mundo e possui características físicas distintas que o tornam um caçador altamente eficiente. 

O Guepardo é um felino elegante, caracterizado por sua pelagem amarelada com pintas pretas, uma cabeça pequena com olhos negros distintivos e pernas longas e esguias, adaptadas para a velocidade.

Ele é o animal mais rápido em terra, capaz de atingir velocidades de até 100 km/h em disparadas curtas, permitindo-lhe caçar presas ágeis como gazelas. 

O Guepardo Possui uma visão excepcional, vital para identificar presas a longas distâncias enquanto caça em terrenos abertos. Suas pupilas ovais permitem uma visão panorâmica melhorada. 

Apesar de sua velocidade impressionante, os Guepardos são vulneráveis em competições por comida e frequentemente perdem suas presas para outros predadores mais fortes, como leões e hienas.

Subaru Impreza WRC 2008 Concept Paper Model - by MKJ

Created by Japanese designer MJK and originally published on the official Pepakura Gallery community website, this is the papercraft version of the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRC, a competition version of Subaru's popular rally car. 

It was built to compete in the 2008 World Rally Championship (WRC). It featured a 2.0-liter boxer engine and all-wheel drive, typical characteristics of Subaru rally cars. 

In the 2008 World Rally Championship (WRC) season, the Subaru Impreza WRC 2008 did not win any titles in the constructors' championship. 

The Subaru World Rally Team faced difficulties throughout the season, and although they achieved some good positions in individual events, they were unable to secure consistent wins to challenge for the constructors' title. 

The Impreza WRC 2008 continued Subaru's successful tradition in rallying, following in the footsteps of previous legendary Impreza models that had won multiple world rally championships. 

It featured several technical innovations, including an advanced all-wheel-drive system and improved aerodynamics, providing better stability and control on various terrains. 

The car was driven by some of the best rally drivers of the time, including Petter Solberg, Chris Atkinson, and Xavier Pons, contributing to the reputation of the Impreza WRC 2008 as a formidable competitor in the global rally scene.
