The Funerary Mask Of Tutankhamun Paper Model - by Unknown

I do not know who is the author of this beautiful paper model of the Death Mask of Tutankhamun. I had saved the template a few years ago (2013 or 2014 I think) on a Russian forum specializing in 3D Printing and Pepakura, but visiting it recently I saw that all the download links are invalid, so I won't post the link.

The mask of Tutankhamun is a gold funerary mask of the 18th-dynasty ancient Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun (reigned 1334–1325 BC). After being buried for over 3,000 years, it was excavated by Howard Carter in 1925 from tomb KV62 in the Valley of the Kings and is now in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The death mask is one of the best-known works of art in the world and a prominent symbol of ancient Egypt.

Eu não sei quem é o autor deste belo modelo de papel da Máscara Mortuária de Tutancâmon. Eu havia salvo o template há alguns anos atrás (acho que em 2013 ou 2014) em um forum russo especializado em Impressão em 3D e Pepakura, mas visitando-o recentemente vi que todos os links para download estão inválidos, então não vou publicar o link.

A máscara de Tutancâmon é uma máscara mortuária de ouro do antigo faraó egípcio da 18ª dinastia Tutancâmon (reinou de 1334 a 1325 aC). Depois de ficar enterrada por mais de 3.000 anos, foi escavada por Howard Carter em 1925 da tumba KV62 no Vale dos Reis e agora está no Museu Egípcio do Cairo. A máscara mortuária é uma das obras de arte mais conhecidas do mundo e um símbolo proeminente do antigo Egito.

Easter Celebration - Huevo Radiactivo - Radioactive Egg Paper Model by Edurdoxdd

This unusual paper model, the "Huevo Radiactivo", or the Radioactive Egg, was created by Peruvian designer and modeler Edurdoxdd and was originally posted on his page at DeviantArt community. 

How about an easter egg that reflects the times we live in? Pandemics, real wars, cold wars and ideological wars that affect the entire globe leave the most optimistic among optimists in doubt about the future. So nothing better to represent our days than a Radioactive Easter Egg. 

Easter has been distorted for a long time and has become a date to sell. Many don't know the meaning of Easter, they think it's just a date when chocolate eggs are given, a fun date. 

For Christians, Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

For the Jews, it celebrates the liberation of the Hebrew people from captivity in Egypt. 

The rabbit has become one of the main symbols of Easter since ancient peoples celebrated the renewal of the harvest. For these peoples, the rabbit represented fertility and resurgence of life. The egg is a symbol of Easter because it represents the beginning of life. 

You will find the model in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the model with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D.

Este inusitado modelo de papel do "Huevo Radiactivo", ou o Ovo Radioativo, foi criado pelo designer e modelista peruano Edurdoxdd e foi originalmente publicado em sua página na comunidade DeviantArt. 

Que tal um ovo de páscoa que reflete os tempos que vivemos? Pandemia, guerras de fato, guerras frias e guerras ideológicas que afetam todo o globo deixam o mais otimista entre os otimistas em dúvida quanto ao futuro. Então nada melhor para representar nossos dias que um Ovo de Páscoa Radioativo. 

A Páscoa já foi desvirtuada há muito tempo e virou uma data para se vender. Muitos não sabem o significado da Páscoa, pensam ser apenas uma data em que se presenteiam ovos de chocolate, uma data divertida. 

Para os Cristãos, a Páscoa celebra a ressurreição de Jesus Cristo. 

Para os Judeus, celebra a libertação do povo hebreu do cativeiro no Egito. 

O coelho se tornou um dos principais símbolos da Páscoa desde quando povos antigos celebravam a renovação da colheita. Para esses povos, o coelho representava fertilidade e ressurgimento da vida. Já o ovo é símbolo da Páscoa porque representa o começo da vida.

The City of Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic and is located on the banks of the Vltava River.

Ocupando apenas cinco folhas impressas e com instruções detalhadas, este belo diorama de papel da Cidade de Praga em uma mala foi criado pelos designers japoneses Makino, Haruto e Shogo Araki exclusivamente para o site da Canon. 

A Cidade de Praga é a capital e a maior cidade da República Tcheca e situa-se às margens do Rio Vltava.

Onur Hayirli from Turkey is a teacher whose hobby is collecting diecast cars. 

He said: - "I collect cars like Hotwheels, Matchbox, etc. And anything like dioramas, architectural buildings, streets, garages that can be used to better expose the cars. 

The cars I collect are usually in 1/64 scale and sometimes a little bigger like the ones from the GreenLight Collectibles brand. Any realistic part of the city, even just the asphalt of the road, shows the cars better. I make papercraft and dioramas to relax and clear my mind."

About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents. I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like. 

With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation. Today I am opening a new session here on the blog, the Ephemeral Museum , which is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years. 

I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

Eu "estou no papelmodelismo" desde 2005, embora eu já tivesse contato com modelos de papel desde minha infância, nos anos 1970, via revistas que eram vendidas esporadicamente em bancas de jornal. Lembro que haviam revistas com casas para montar e dioramas/playsets de aeroportos, fortes-apache, presépios e coisas do tipo. 

Com o advento da internet o que houve foi simplesmente um renascimento do hobby do papelmodelismo para mim e muitas outras pessoas de minha geração. Hoje eu estou inaugurando uma nova sessão aqui no blog, o Ephemeral Museum, que é um lugar aonde irei mostrar alguns dos modelos que eu construí em todos estes anos. 

Também gostaria que esse fosse um espaço aonde todos os amigos modelistas pudessem mostrar seus trabalhos, sendo assim, se alguém quiser participar deste "museu", basta mandar fotos de seu trabalho e algumas palavras para o e-mail abaixo:

Decorative Low Poly Fox Miniature Paper Model - by Canon

Offered by Canon Japan website, here is a beautiful low poly style decorative paper model of a Fox. 

Canon made the model available in three different colors and, unlike what it usually does, the company did not disclose the name of the designer responsible for the papercraft.

A Canon disponibilizou o modelo em três cores diferentes e, diferentemente do que costuma fazer, a companhia não divulgou o nome do designer responsável pelo papercraft.
