Getter Robot Articulated Paper Model - Version 3 - by Shunichi Makino

This is the third version of Getter Robot in a detailed and articulated paper model version created by Japanese designer and modeler Shunichi Makino, from Sc-Fi Papercraft website. 

Getter Robo, typically romanized as Getter Robot in various mangás, is a Super Robot mangá series created by Ken Ishikawa and Go Nagai, as well as an anime series produced by Toei Animation. The series was broadcast on Fuji TV from April 4, 1974 to May 8, 1975, with a total of 51 episodes. The manga was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from April 7, 1974 to August 24, 1975.

Este é a terceira versão do Getter Robot em uma versão de papel detalhada e articulada criada pelo designer e modelista japonês Shunichi Makino, do site Sc-Fi Papercraft. 

Getter Robo, tipicamente romanizado como Getter Robot em diversos mangás, é uma série de mangás de Super Robôs criada por Ken Ishikawa e Go Nagai, e também como um anime série produzida pela Toei Animation. A série foi transmitido pela TV Fuji entre 04 de abril de 1974 e 8 de Maio de 1975, com um total de 51 episódios.

I believe I've posted two tutorials here on the blog about ships in bottles, but this is the more detailed and the most closely than the ancient sailors did during their long and uncertain trips in the Golden Age of Sail, as a way to pass time and not thinking too much on risks that they ran. 

This very well done tutorial, full of photos was created by a South African guy called Awesomecreations and was originally posted at Instructables website. Even if you never think of building a ship in a bottle, it's worth taking a look at the ingenious techniques used.

Eu creio que já postei dois tutoriais aqui no blog sobre barcos em garrafas, mas este é mais detalhado e o que mais se aproxima do que os antigos marinheiros faziam durante suas longas e incertas viagens na Era de Ouro das Navegações, como uma forma de passar o tempo e não pensarem muito nos riscos que corriam. 

Este tutorial super detalhado e repleto de fotos foi criado por um sul-africano auto-intitulado Awesomecreations e foi originalmente postado no site Instructables. Mesmo que você nunca pense em construir um barco em uma garrafa, vale a pena dar uma olhada nas engenhosas técnicas usadas.

Artistic Interpretation Of A Triceratops

Triceratops is a genus of herbivorous ceratopsid dinosaur which lived during the late Maastrichtian stage of the Late Cretaceous Period, around 68 to 65 million years ago (Mya) in what is now North America. It was one of the last dinosaur genera to appear before the great Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event. The term Triceratops, which literally means "three-horned face," is derived from the Greek τρί- (tri-) meaning "three", κέρας (kéras) meaning "horn", and ὤψ (ops) meaning "face". Bearing a large bony frill and three horns on its large four-legged body, and conjuring similarities with the modern rhinoceros, Triceratops is one of the most recognizable of all dinosaurs and the best known ceratopsid. It shared the landscape with and was preyed upon by the fearsome Tyrannosaurus, though it is less certain that the two did battle in the manner often depicted in traditional museum displays and popular images. - Wikipedia

O tricerátopo (Triceratops horridus, do latim "cabeça com três chifres") foi um tipo de dinossauro herbívoro e quadrúpede que viveu no fim do período Cretáceo, principalmente na região que é hoje a América do Norte. O tricerátopo possuía enormes chifres e, ao que se sabe, foi o maior de todos os dinossauros com essa característica, media em torno de 9 metros de comprimento, 3 metros de altura e pesava em torno de 6 toneladas. A descoberta do primeiro crânio de tricerátopo ocorreu em 1888 em Denver, no estado americano do Colorado. Já em 1889, um ano após a descoberta, Othniel Charles Marsh fez a nomeação oficial da espécie. É um dos dinossauros mais conhecidos do público, tendo aparecido no filme Jurassic Park de Steven Spielberg. Nos Estados Unidos, é um dos símbolos oficiais do Wyoming. Há indícios que, na verdade, ele seja a versão jovem do torossauro, porém ainda não há provas irrefutáveis. - Wikipedia
