Cardboard Medieval Style House - A Tutorial With Templates
by Papermau - Part 01

Today I start to post a tutorial with templates of a medieval style house, all made of cardboard. The parts are numbered, so just glue equal numbers with equal numbers and I advise you to use cardboard about 5 mm thick. I used a hot glue gun to glue most of the pieces because the adhesion is virtually instantaneous and I do not need to stand holding the parts until the glue dries. I used 10 mm (1 centimeter) cardboard and I had a lot of work to cut the pieces. to make the reliefs of the roofs, the chimney bricks and other details, I used 3mm cardboard paper. Today I leave here the templates and some photos of what I have done so far. More soon. A good weekend for everyone.

...............................................................................................................................................................................

WWI`s Albatross D.V German Aircraft Paper Model In SD Style
by Paper Factory

The Japanese designer Taki, from Paper Factory website, created this beautiful paper model in SD style (super deformed style) of the German fighter Albatros D.V. The Albatros D.V was a fighter aircraft built by the Albatros Flugzeugwerke and used by the Luftstreitkräfte (Imperial German Air Service) during World War I. The D.V was the final development of the Albatros D.I family and the last Albatros fighter to see operational service. Despite its well-known shortcomings and general obsolescence, approximately 900 D.V and 1,612 D.Va aircraft were built before production halted in early 1918. The D.Va continued in operational service until the end of the war.

Kawagoe Bell Of Time Clock Tower Paper Model - by Shukuka1014

Occupying only one printed sheet, this is the paper model of the Kawagoe Bell Of Time Clock Tower, created by Japanese designer and modeler Shukuka1014. 400 years have passed since the construction of the "Bell of Time" clock tower in "Little Edo", Kawagoe, Japan. In the old days, the bell was manually rung at specific times, but it now rings to tell the time mechanically, four times a day (6:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00). It's also locally known as Kanetsukidō (Bell Tower in Japanese).

Japanese Aircraft Carrier Akitsu Maru Paper Model In 1/350 Scale
by Paper Model Studio

The Real Thing
Akitsu Maru was a Japanese landing craft depot ship and escort aircraft carrier operated by the Imperial Japanese Army. In some sources Akitsu Maru and her sister ship Nigitsu Maru are also considered to be the first amphibious assault ships. Akitsu Maru was a passenger liner taken over before completion by the Imperial Japanese Army. The ship was fitted with a flight deck above the hull, but had no hangar so the aircraft were stored below the flight deck on the original main deck. Conventional aircraft were able to fly off from her deck but could not land aboard due to the short deck length and lack of landing mechanisms, although in July 1944 KX arresting gear was fitted on the flight deck. On Thursday 18 November 1943 Akitsu Maru, while in company with the torpedo boat Tomozuru, was torpedoed off the entrance to Manila Bay by the United States submarine Crevalle. Crevalle incorrectly reported Akitsu Maru as sunk. Akitsu Maru was sunk by the United States submarine Queenfish on 15 November 1944. There were 2,046 men, mainly of the IJA's 64th Infantry Regiment, who were killed. Her sister ship Nigitsu Maru was sunk by the submarine Hake on 12 January 1944, with the loss of 574 men.
