Girl's Festival - Hinamatsuri Diorama Paper Model - by Nagasaki City

Hinamatsuri, also called Doll's Day or Girls' Day, is a very special day in Japan. Celebrated on 3 March, the platforms covered with red fabric are used to display a set of ornamental dolls representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period. This Hinamatsuri, in particular, offered by Nagasaki city website, presents only the Emperor and the Empress, adorned by two lanterns.

Hinamatsuri, também chamado de Dia das Bonecas ou Dia das Meninas, é um dia muito especial no Japão. Celebrado todos os anos em 3 de março, as plataformas cobertas com tecido vermelho são usadas para exibir um conjunto de bonecos ornamentais que representam o Imperador, a Imperatriz, os atendentes e os músicos, com trajes tradicionais do período Heian. Este Hinamatsuri, em especial, oferecido pelo site da cidade de Nagasaki, apresenta apenas o Imperador e a Imperatriz, adornados por duas lanternas.

German Ferryboat Marienfels Paper Model In 1/50 Scale - by Kallboys

From my friends Kallboys, from Germany, here is another beautiful original paper model, the forty-first, kindly shared by them. This is the paper model version in 1/50 scale of the German Ferryboat "Marienfels", that sailed the River Rhine between Lülsdorf and Wesseling in the Years from 1974 to 2017. It was built in 1932 in Königswinter and was now sold to a new owner because the Ferry company bought a new Ferryboat.

Dos meus amigos Kallboys, da Alemanha, eis aqui mais um belo modelo de papel original, o quadragésimo primeiro, gentilmente compartilhado por eles. Esta é a versão em papel na escala 1/50 do Ferryboat alemão "Marienfels", que navegou no rio Reno entre Lülsdorf e Wesseling nos anos de 1974 a 2017. Ele foi construído em 1932 em Königswinter e agora foi vendido a um novo proprietário porque a empresa Ferry comprou um novo ferryboat.

I do not know the exact year or who published these paper models of two vehicles of the East German Police, but I know, based on the model of the cars, that they were originally published in the 1960s.

Created by my friend, the German engineer and designer Boris Voigt, from Projekt Bastelbogen website, here is the fourth part of the Stargard Castle, the North Tower. In the last post, regarding the third part of this castle, I said that the model was a kind of cistern, but Boris explained to me that in fact it represents the remains of an old tower.

Criado por meu amigo, o engenheiro e designer alemão Boris Voigt, do site Projekt Bastelbogen, aqui está a terceira parte do Castelo de Stargard, uma espécie de cisterna com uma grande muralha. No post passado, a respeito da terceira parte deste castelo, eu disse que o modelo era uma espécie de cisterna, mas Boris me explicou que na verdade ele representa os restos de uma antiga torre.

The quality of this copy is not the best, but the model itself is very well done. This paper model of a Spanish chalet was probably published between the 1950s and 1960s and was distributed to promote a company called Marca Industries.

Created by designer and modeler Ace, from Ace Crafts website, this is a very well done paper model version of Milla Maxwell, character from Tales of Xillia, a Japanese role-playing videogame released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. 

She is one of the two lead dual protagonists of Tales of Xillia, the other being Jude Mathis. In the game, she is the Lord of the Spirits, Maxwell, accompanied by the Four Great Spirits. 

You will find the model in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the model with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D.
