A compass rose, sometimes called a windrose, or Rose of the Winds, is a figure on a compass, map, nautical chart, or monument used to display the orientation of the cardinal directions: North, East, South, and West—and their intermediate points. It is also the term for the graduated markings found on the traditional magnetic compass. Today, the idea of a compass rose is found on, or featured in, almost all navigation systems, including nautical charts, non-directional beacons (NDB), VHF omnidirectional range (VOR) systems, global-positioning systems (GPS), and similar equipment.

May not look like it, but the model of the photos is in 1/100 scale, so it's almost 30% smaller than a Hot Wheels miniature (1/64 scale).

O T 174 é uma escavadeira hidráulica com rodas, produzida pela fábrica VEB Weimar da Alemanha, entre 1966 e 1992. 

Pode não parecer, mas o modelo das fotos está na escala 1/100, logo ele quase 30% menor que uma miniatura Hot Wheels (escala 1/64).

This beautiful and rare Nativity scene paper model was created in 1928 by Czech artist Marie Fischerové Kvěchové (1892-1984), comissioned by Otta Rakovnik, a former soap maker based in Prague. 

This is more one of the old paper models I have stored in my files and I do not even remember where I got them.

Este belo e raro modelo de papel de uma cena da Natal foi criado em 1928 pela artista tcheca Marie Fischerové Kvěchové (1892-1984), comissionada por Otta Rakovnik, um antigo fabricante de sabão com sede em Praga. 

Este é mais um dos modelos de papel antigos que eu tenho guardado em meus arquivos e nem lembro mais aonde consegui.
