Star Wars - Bulk Freighter With Outpost Diorama Paper Modelby Paper Aviation

Created by German designer and modeler Martin Sänger, from Paper Aviation website, this is a Bulk Freighter with its Outpost. 

On Star Wars universe, Bulk Freighters are huge spaceships used to haul enormous cargo loads. 

Most of the ship's interior are occupied by cargo bays while the bridge and crew areas are often small and cramped. 

In spite of this, many spacers signed on to bulk freighters because of the profits involved. Bulk Freighters are very costly to obtain and operate, but the payoffs for transporting such huge loads are much higher than those earned with smaller and more inexpensive light freighters.  Therefore they are mainly used by larger shipping concerns or smuggling organizations.

No universo de Star Wars, os Cargueiros Massivos são enormes naves espaciais usadas para transportar grande volume de cargas.

A maior parte do interior do navio é ocupada por compartimentos de carga, enquanto as áreas da ponte e da tripulação são muitas vezes pequenas e mal aparelhadas. Apesar disso, o trabalho nestes cargueiros é muito disputado por causa dos lucros envolvidos. 

Os Cargueiros Massivos são muito caros de se construir e operar, mas os ganhos com o transporte de cargas tão grandes são muito maiores que os obtidos com cargas ligeiras menores e mais baratas. Por isso eles são usados principalmente por grandes corporações ou organizações contrabandistas.
