Toys In The Attic - Six Original Architectural Paper Modelsby Papermau - Download Now!

Today I was fidgeting with some old boxes and found these paper models of houses, already posted here on the blog. I decided to make a post joining all of them because they are all in approximate scale of 1/64, would then be a nice diorama for Hot Wheels and Matchbox miniatures. Have fun!

Hoje eu estava mexendo em algumas velhas caixas e encontrei estes modelos de papel de casinhas, todas já postadas aqui no blog. Resolvi fazer um post juntando todas elas, pois estão na escala aproximada de 1/64 e creio que dariam um ótimo diorama para miniaturas Hot Wheels e Matchbox. Boa montagem!

About Toys In The Attic by Papermau:

Toys in the Attic is the third album by American rock band Aerosmith, released in April 1975. Is also a name of a 1963`s drama movie with Dean Martin and Geraldine Page. Now, because this is a really nice name, this will be the name of a new session of Papermau`s blog. In this session I will share old original and exclusive paper models posted more than a year here in the blog. It's a way of not letting these models get lost among over 7.000 posts in the four years of the blog.


Toys in the Attic (Brinquedos no Sotão) é o nome do terceiro album da banda norte-americana de rock Aerosmith, lançado em 1975. É também o nome de um drama para o cinema de 1963 chamado aqui no Brasil de Na Voragem das Paixões, que contava no elenco com Dean Martin (o parceiro do Rat Pack e de Jerry Lewis) e Geraldine Page. Agora, porque eu acho esse um título muito legal, Toys in the Attic será o nome de uma nova sessão do blog Papermau. Nesta sessão eu publicarei antigos modelos de papel originais e exclusivos postados há um ano ou mais. Esta é a maneira que encontrei para que estes modelos não fiquem perdidos e esquecidos entre mais de 7.000 postagens feitas em quatro anos de existência do blog.

I Built Rabubu - Kagoshima Prefecture Mascot Paper Toy - by Greboo

Malu, my Otaku daughter, always asks me to assemble paper toys of cute Japanese characters from anime, manga and also mascots, as this nice little pig, created by Greebo, for Kagoshima Prefecture. I used a common sheet of bond paper to smooth the model curves. The assembly was easy and did not take even half an hour. Occupying only one sheet of paper, it is a good model to train assembly of delicate parts. If you want to build your own mascot, the link to download this and other models, is right down, at the end of the post. There is also a funny video, if I understood correctly, shows several mascots of Kagoshima region, each promoting some quality, specialty or tourist attraction.

Malú, minha filha Otaku, sempre pede que eu monte paper toys de personagens fofos japoneses, de animes, mangás e também mascotes, como esta simpática porquinha, criada pela Greebo, para a Prefeitura de Kagoshima. Eu usei uma folha comum de papel sulfite para suavizar as curvas do modelo. A montagem foi bem fácil e não demorou nem meia hora. Ocupando apenas uma folha de papel, é um bom modelo para treinar montagem de peças delicadas. Se você quiser montar sua própria mascote, o link para baixar esta e também outros modelos, está logo baixo, no final do post. Há também este vídeo bem humorado, que se eu entendi bem, mostra vários mascotes da região de Kagoshima, cada um promovendo alguma qualidade, especialidade ou ponto turístico da cidade.
