Halloween is coming and I decided to build the Cemetery Keeper Spooky House. I had not assembled this model yet, so I took some ideas of great assembly made by German modeler Schildimann. The photos in this post are what I've done so far.
O dia das Bruxas está chegando e eu decidi montar a Assustadora Casa do Zelador do Cemitério. Eu não havia montado este modelo ainda, então tirei algumas idéias da ótima montagem feita pelo modelista alemão Schildimann. As fotos deste post são o que eu fiz até agora.
The whole model occupies only three sheets of paper.
O modelo todo ocupa apenas três folhas de papel.
I reinforced the walls with cardboard, painted black, for, besides giving strength to the model, do not let the light transpire from the inside out, unless through the windows, since I intend to illuminate the house.
Eu reforcei as paredes com papel cartão pintado de preto, para, além de dar resistência ao modelo, não deixar a luz transparecer de dentro para fora, a não ser pelas janelas, já que pretendo iluminar a casinha.
Above, cutting the windows and doors frames and preparing them to receive the clear plastic, which I sanded lightly to give the appearance of dirty or fogged glass.
Acima, cortando as molduras das janelas e portas e preparando-as para receber o plástico transparente, que eu lixei levemente para dar a aparência de vidro sujo ou embaçado.

Above and below you can see the light effect of a simple LED candle, bought in discount stores, that crackle like a real candle and offer no fire hazards.
Acima e abaixo pode-se ver o efeito de iluminação de uma vela de LED, comprada em lojas de Um Real, que crepita como uma vela de verdade e não oferece risco de incêndio.
