The collected data from many archaeologist still can not distinguish if Quadranok is Polynesian, Aztec, Aboriginal, or African. Let alone if it is male of female. Standing in the mere presence of this statue conjures enchantment, fear, pleasure, and anxiety.

Bonette diz que o Quadranok é uma divindade com quatro faces e de procedência desconhecida. Ele tem sido adorado e temido há séculos. Mesmo com todos os dados coletados por arqueólogos do mundo todo, ainda não se chgou a conclusão se o Quadranok é polinésio, asteca, aborígene, ou africano, e nem ao menos se é uma divindade masculina ou feminina. O simples ato de se postar em frente à esta estátua evoca encantamento, medo, prazer e ansiedade.

The Real Thing

The Athenian Treasury at Delphi was constructed by the Athenians to house dedications made by their city and citizens to the sanctuary of Apollo. The entire treasury, including its sculptural decoration, is built of Parian marble; its date of construction is disputed, scholarly opinion ranging from 510 to 480 BC. Pausanias mentions the building in his account of the sanctuary, claiming that it was dedicated from the spoils of the Battle of Marathon, fought in 490 BC. The building was excavated by the French School at Athens, and reconstructed from 1903-1906. - Wikipedia


O Tesouro de Atenas é um pequeno templo em estilo dórico, construído em comemoração á vitória dos atenienses na batalha de Marathon em 490 - 480 a.C. Todo coberto com inscrições das glorias de Atenas e agradecimentos da cidade de Atenas ao deus Apolo. Ele é todo construído em mármore. Os chamados Tesouros eram pequenas construções semelhantes a templos onde se guardavam os oferecimentos, presente e donativos que frequentemente eram muito valiosos.

A nice Classic Ultraman Mask paper model created by Norrth American designer Kuraudo3. The coolest thing is that you can change the textures at ease with Pepakura program, just as I did in the pictures on this post. Just open the model in Pepakura Viewer Free Version and:

1 - Go to "Setting"

2 - Click in "Texture Setting"

3 - This will open a "Texture Configuration" box

4 - Click in "Specify Texture Image" and choose any texture or image you have saved in your computer.

To view, change textures and print this model you will need Pepakura Viewer Free Version (link at the end of this post).

Um modelo de papel bem bacana da Máscara Clássica do Ultraman, criação do dsigner norte-americano Kuraudo3. O mais legal é que você pode mudar as texturas às vontade e facilmente, usando o Pepakura Viewer Versão Gratuíta, como eu fiz nas imagns que ilustram ste post. Apenas abra o modelo no Pepakura e:

1 - Clique em "Setting"

2 - Clique em "Texture Setting"

3 - Isto abrirá uma caixa chamada "Texture Configuration"
