Land of the Giants is an hour-long American science fiction television program lasting two seasons beginning on September 22, 1968 and ending on March 22, 1970. The show was created and produced by Irwin Allen. Land of the Giants was the fourth of Allen's science fiction TV series. The show was aired on ABC and released by 20th Century Fox Television. The series was filmed entirely in color and ran for 51 episodes. The show starred Gary Conway and Don Marshall. Author Murray Leinster also wrote three novels in 1968 and 1969 based on the television series. - Wikipedia


Do seriado norte-americano Terra De Gigantes (1968), eis aqui a nave Spindrift, um modelo em papel feito pelo designer Gary Pilsworth e originalmente postado no site Dpileggi.
Land of the Giants (conhecido como Terra de Gigantes na versão traduzida) é uma série de televisão criada por Irwin Allen (Master of Disaster) nos anos 60. A série mostrava uma tripulação de uma nave orbital chamada Spindrift, que durante uma viagem de Los Angeles até Londres, entra numa dobra espacial e cai num planeta onde todos são gigantes. Este planeta é controlado por um Estado totalitário, tendo uma polícia à la KGB, controlando tudo e todos. O nome da polícia era SID (Special Investigation Department), cujo integrante era o sádico inspetor Kobik. A tripulação, chamada pelos gigantes de "pequeninos", passam por diversas dificuldades, quando ocasionalmente um deles é pego por algum gigante. Criam alguns utensílios, usando barbantes como cordas, pregos ou clips como ganchos. Constantemente enfrentavam animais gigantes, principalmente gatos. - Wikipedia
