Rock`n`Roll Circus - Freddie Mercury Paper Toy - by Omura Art

If alive, Freddie Mercury would have done 70 years old on 05 September 2016. The lead singer of Queen, one of the greatest rock bands of all time has been immortalized in this paper toy created by the Japanese designer Yojira Omura, from Omura Art website. If you are a fan of Freddie and Queen, I advise you to download this model quicky, because I do not know how long Mr. Omura will make it available for download.

O vocalista e líder de uma das maiores bandas de rock de todos os tempos foi imortalizado neste paper toy criado pelo designer japonês Yojira Omura, do site Omura Art. Ray O`Bannon, the North American designer of this cool papercraft diorama, says: - "These three fellows grew bored with just lying around in the cemetery, so they've decided to form a band. Nash plays 50's rock and roll, Mic plays hard rock from the 80's, and Boots plays thrash and industrial. Needless to say, the group has a very unique sound. But they'll be happy to jam along to whatever music you prefer. Mic and Nash both have full stack amplifiers, Boots has an eight piece drum kit, and all three musicians have their own stage and light show."

Ray O`Bannon, o designer norte-americano que criou este diorama bem bacana, diz: - "Estes três camaradas cresceram entediados, passeando pelo cemitério e então decidiram formar uma banda. Nash toca rock and roll dos anos 50, Mic toca hard rock dos anos 80, e Boots adora thrash e industrial. Nem preciso dizer que o som deles é bem original. Mas eles ficam contentes com qualquer música que você peça para eles tocarem. Mic e Nash têm suas paredes de amplificadores, Boots tem um kit de bateria de oito peças, e cada um deles tem seu próprio palco com iluminação."

This model was posted on the blog exactly a year and 11 days ago. I had never assembled this before, only virtually, in Sketchup, so here's the Cavern Club Diorama paper model. 

When printed on A4 paper, the complete model measures 14 cm wide, 10.5 cm of Aitura by 7.5 cms wide. I decided to let the Beatles deliberately a little larger than the scenery to highlight the figures. 

I think it's a cool ornament to your LPs or CDs shelf. If you like it, the link to download the model is right below, at the end of this post. Have fun!

Este modelo foi postado aqui no blog há exatamente um ano e 11 dias atrás. Eu nunca o havia montado antes, somente virtualmente, no Sketchup, então eis aqui o Cavern Club Diorama paper model. 

Quando impresso em papel A4, o modelo completo mede 14 cms de largura, 10,5 cms de aitura, por 7,5 cms de largura. Eu resolvi deixar os Beatles propositalmente um pouco maiores que o cenário, para dar destaque as figuras. 

Eu creio que seja um enfeite bem legal para sua estante de Lps ou Cds. Se você gostou e quer montar o seu, o link para baixá-lo está logo abaixo, no final deste post. Bom divertimento.

Toys In The Attic Meets Halloween Special - The Zombie In A Barrel

To close this Halloween night with a golden key, here's the Zombie in a Barrel, a paper model originally published here at the blog on April, 19, 2012. I added two LED lamps (white and blue) to the model and took some pictures. The result you can see in the pictures of this post. It seems that the zombie is steeped in some kind of toxic fluorescent jelly. Para fechar a noite de Dia das Bruxas com chave de ouro, eis aqui o Zumbi no Barril, um modelo de papel originalmente publicado aqui no blog no dia 19 de Abril de 2012. Eu adicionei duas lâmpadas de LED ao modelo (uma branca e uma azul) e tirei algumas fotos. O resultado você pode ver nas duas imagens que ilustram este post. Parece que o zumbi está mergulhado em algum tipo de geléia tóxica fluorescente. This is the Medieval Castle Paper Model For Kids and it was originally posted here in September, 4, 2011, two months after this blog have been opened. It has been fully drawn and texturized using MsPaint. I reviewed the model and turned into PDF format, thereby removing printing errors, since all sheets are automatically the same resolution and size. This is the The Cavern Club Diorama, an easy-to-build paper model in four sheets of paper. To help with the assemble, I am sharing the 3D model (Sketchup format). The Cavern Club is a nightclub at 10 Mathew Street, in Liverpool, England. The original Cavern Club opened on Wednesday 16 January 1957 as a jazz club, later becoming a centre of the rock and roll scene in Liverpool in the 1960s. The Beatles played in the club in their early years. The original Cavern Club closed in March 1973 and was filled in during construction work on the Merseyrail underground rail loop. O Cavern Club é uma boate situada na 10 Mathew Street, em Liverpool, Londres. O Cavern Club original era especializado em Jazz mas depois acabou tornando-se o centro da cena rocker londrina dos anos 1960. Os Beatles tocaram muito lá no começo de sua carreira. O Cavern Club original fechou suas portas em 1973 e foi demolido devido a obras do metrô. Tommy Ramone died yesterday, a day before the World Day of Rock.
If you believe in life after death (I do not), they probably are now gathered, with the appearance they had in 1976, on the cover of the first LP. To celebrate one of the bands I listened day and night when I was 14 or 15 years, here's the Ramones VW Type. This model was originally shared here in February, 19, 2012. Thomas Erdelyi (born Erdélyi Tamás; January 29, 1952 – July 11, 2014), also known by his stage name Tommy Ramone, was a Hungarian American record producer and musician. He was the drummer of the influential punk rock band the Ramones. He had been diagnosed with bile duct cancer, and was in hospice care following unsuccessful treatment for it when he died on July 11, 2014.

Para celebrar uma das bandas que eu mais ouvia quando tinha 14 ou 15 anos, aqui está a VW Type dos Ramones. Este modelo foi postado originalmente aqui no blog em 19 de fevereiro de 2012. Tommy Ramone, nome artístico de Tom Erdélyi (Budapeste, Hungria, 29 de Janeiro de 1952 — Nova York, Estados Unidos, 11 de Julho de 2014) era produtor e baterista. Foi o último integrante original da banda Ramones a morrer. Tommy Ramone compôs importantes músicas dos Ramones,como "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" e "Blitzkrieg Bop". Tommy Ramone morreu em sua casa em Queens, Nova York em 11 de julho de 2014 com 62 anos. Ele sofria de câncer.
