WWI`s De Havilland Airco DH2 Fighter Aircraft Paper Model In SD Style by Propeller Factory

Created by Japanese designer and modeler Seagull, from Propeller Factory website, this is the miniature paper model version in SD style (super deformed style) of the De Havilland "Airco" DH2. 

The Airco DH2 was a single-seat biplane fighter aircraft which operated during the First World War. It was the second design by aeronautical engineer Geoffrey de Havilland for Airco, based on his earlier DH.1 two-seater.

The prototype DH.2 made its first flight in July 1915, but it was lost during the following month, on its service trials on the Western Front.

The DH.2 was introduced to frontline service in February 1916 and became the first effectively armed British single-seat fighter.

Criado pelo designer e modelista japonês Seagull, do site Propeller Factory, esta é a versão de papel em miniatura e estilo SD (estilo super deformado) do De Havilland "Airco" DH2.

O Airco DH2 era um caça biplano monoposto que operou durante a Primeira Guerra Mundial. Foi o segundo projeto do engenheiro aeronáutico Geoffrey de Havilland para a Airco, baseado em seu DH.1 anterior de dois lugares.

O protótipo do DH.2 fez seu primeiro vôo em julho de 1915, mas foi perdido no mês seguinte, em seus testes de serviço na Frente Ocidental.

O DH.2 foi introduzido no serviço de linha de frente em fevereiro de 1916 e se tornou o primeiro caça monoposto britânico efetivamente armado.

Ray O`Bannon, from Ravensblight website, the North American designer of these cool and very original diorama, says: - "It's not all that uncommon of an experience... you're out alone at night, it's dark and quiet, and then you begin to hear a single aircraft engine somewhere off in the distance. 

The roar of the engine grows louder, and you might even get a glimpse of a WW1 fighter plane soaring overhead, glowing a faint greenish color. 

Here's a model recreating that legendary phantom aircraft in all it's ectoplasmic splendor. Model measures 8 inches long with a 9 inch wingspan."

Ray O`Bannon, do site Ravensblight, o designer norte-americano deste diorama super original, diz: - "Não é uma experiência tão incomum ... você está sozinho de noite, está escuro e silencioso, e então você começa a ouvir o motor de uma única aeronave em algum lugar distante. 

O rugido do motor cresce e você pode até ter um vislumbre de um avião de combate da 1ª Guerra Mundial pairando no alto, brilhando com uma leve cor esverdeada. 

Eis aqui um modelo recriando aquela aeronave fantasma lendária em todo seu ectoplasmático esplendor. O modelo mede 20 centímetros de comprimento com uma envergadura de 9 polegadas."

The Colombian modeler Rubenandres77, from Paper Modelers Forum, did a great job of research and found 11 Free paper models of World War I`s airplanes of a specific model: the Fokker Dr1. 

If it was not good enough, he set up one by one and made a refined review of each model by specifying ranges and details of each.

O modelista colombiano Rubenandres77, do Forum Paper Modelers, fez um grande trabalho de pesquisa e achou 11 modelos de papel gratuítos de avióes da Primeira Grande Guerra, de um modelo específico: o Fokker Dr1.

WWI`s Fokker Dr 1 Triplane Fighter Aircraft Paper Model In SD Style by Propeller Factory

Created by Japanese designer and modeler Propeller Factory, this is the paper model version in SD style (super deformed style) of the famous Fokker Dr.I, or Fokker Triplane, a World War I fighter aircraft built by Fokker-Flugzeugwerke.

The Dr.I saw widespread service in the spring of 1918. It became famous as the aircraft in which Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron, gained his last 19 victories, and in which he was killed on 21 April 1918.

Criada pelo designer e modelista japonês Propeller Factory, esta é a versão em papel em estilo SD (estilo super deformado) do famoso Fokker Dr.I, ou Fokker Triplane, um avião de combate da Primeira Guerra Mundial construído pela Fokker-Flugzeugwerke.

O Dr. I voou em combate pela primeira vez na primavera de 1918. Tornou-se famoso como a aeronave em que Manfred von Richthofen, o Barão Vermelho, ganhou suas últimas 19 vitórias, e em que foi morto em 21 de abril de 1918.

WWI`s Group Shelters Paper Models In HO Scale - by Lex Tempelman

All these very original paper models of WWI`s Group Shelters were created by Lex Tempelman, a Dutch technical designer/illustrator. Lex says this type of concrete shelter was built during the mobilization in the Netherlands because of the First World War (1914-1918). Provided protection for 8 soldiers during an enemy artillery bombardment.

Todos esses modelos de papel bem originais de Abrigos Coletivos da Primeira Guerra Mundial foram criados por Lex Tempelman, um designer técnico/ilustrador holandês. Lex diz que este tipo de abrigo de concreto foi construído durante a mobilização na Holanda por causa da Primeira Guerra Mundial (1914-1918). Fornecia proteção para 8 soldados durante um bombardeio de artilharia inimiga.
